Chemfuel ->Refining (+microelectronics)
Uranium ->Multianalyzer (+component assembly)
The first tech are my suggestions. If you think those make the backup generator too easy to get then I suggest you could add a second tech requirement of (+tech)
I simply build a few extra generators and keep them turned off until an eclipse or Zzzt event.
Personally, I did not add this mod because, in my opinion, it adds nothing to the game that I cannot do already, and because I have started taking a 'yes it is cool, but do I really need it' approach to mods in all my games.
did you do the art? if so, i could really be thankful for a portable chemfuel creator or something.
even if it'd be incredibly inefficient and have a lot of research, i'd prefer to be able to make chemfuel on the road for my dropships.
but i still think i'm subbing to this mod!
