That's because there's some overlap with what folders are being modified - for example, the Witch songs are spread over all three of the mods, if I recall. Having all three installed will put in all the songs, I just wasn't thinking ahead when I compiled it all.

Around wandering witches it's Killed by BR8K Spider, the bridal witch uses Spider8reath, and for stationary ones it's the demo version of Vriska's walkabout music from the 10/25/10 flash ([S] Past Karkat: Wake Up).

If it were a single track, I would have. The rush "music" is actually just a bunch of single instrument clips that get layered all in a huge jumble when a horde hits.

Yeah, bit of a dumbass move, didn't even notice when I posted that. Also, can you add a replacement for horde music? I only hear anything Homestuck during special infected, tanks, etc.

Right under the details portion, chief. They're all modifying the same root folder at some point, so it freaks out a touch, but at least from personal testing it doesn't make any of it choke.

It shouldn't be an issue, no. As far as I'm aware, single player acts much like a local server, and it worked fine for me with the mod as it is now. Seeing that I'm not much of a programmer, all I feel safe suggesting is to validate the files in case there's some sort of issue.

Make sure you're on an official dedicated or local server. For some reason any of the third-party servers I tried it on never took it properly.

I just tried this, but it still plays the L4D music over the Homestuck music.

It should, yes. All it is that I've seen is that they're all affecting the /music folder, but no overlapping files.
