I understand you perfectly fine. I don't think you understand me when I tell you that I have no intentions of purchasing several programs and spending hours to figure out how to use them just to fix one small problem on someone elses model that bothers almost no one.
But by all means, if you NEED it fixed then I just told you how to get it done.

Can you not read? I told you, I don't model. I don't have a compiler. I don't know how to work a compiler. I can't afford 3DS max and I'm too lazy to learn blender. If I had any of this, I'd gladly fix the problem in a heart beat.
But I don't, so I can't. All I have at my disposal is Photoshop and GCFScape, neither of which can fix this problem even if I really wanted them to.
If it really bothers you that much AND there's no other mods you want to use, then take the time to purchase all these programs, figure out how to use them, edit the mesh of this weapon to shrink the clip, and then re-upload it to the Steam Workshop, so everyone else can see your dedication to not half-assing any mods you ever make.

No because I'm not a modeler. I just texture stuff. If it's really that big of a deal to you then find some other desert eagle replacement. There's literally hundreds of them.

Could you make the magazine smaller so the top doesn't clip through the bottom of the gun?

That's strange. I think I have an idea though. Try this:
1. Go to the install directory (For me, it's C:\Program files(86x)\steam\steamapps\common\left4dead2\left4dead\addon. It might be a little different for you, but you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it.)
2. Open the folder called "workshop".
3. Find this mod, and copy paste it from "addons\workshop" to just "addons". It should work after that.
If not, then I don't know how else to help you.

Do you have any other mods replacing the Desert eagle? Custom animations and such can prevent this from working. Try disabling or deleting any other mods you have that affect the Desert Eagle.
