@Necroconvict no one should be using this obsolete page.

It was created by a former curator of CEP 2, who is no longer available. Unfortunately Steam are unable to reassign ownership, so we have no way of fixing it. Also, it needs to be here, for the benefit of players who have still not changed their subscription to the new version.

Hey Nilruin. I'm having the same problem. I installed everything correctly, but the creatures and items are invisible.

does this add companion control, if not would anyone be able to point me in the direction of something that gives me some control over companions? kinda sucks its just not a default.

@Dezmodian if you wrote the Toolset Manual that's on the new Neverwinter Vault, then you've helped countless people over the years - definitely the #1 resource for NWN builders.

Oh holy crap.... I remember CEP back in the days of actually playing NWN multiplayer when it was new-ish! ..... I wonder if anyone has read the Toolset manual I wrote and put on the NWN Vaults around 2006 hehe! VERY happy to see CEP here too!

Is there a way we can override the base game files with the CEP so that all its content appears in the vanilla campaigns etc?

It's unlikely to be a CEP problem. If you have an nVidia card, update the drivers. Otherwise, asking on the module page might help.

I've noticed that the Lord of Terror v1.06 module which seems to be based on CEP 1.xx has weird glitches. Minotaur creatures are invisible except for their weapons, for example. Do I need to install CEP 1.xx on top of this to fix that problem?

Is this mod compatible with Player Resource Consortium 3.9?

@Sevrick As the description explains, CEP does not modify the official campaign. It's an optional bolt-on that module authors may choose to include. So you won't see additional classes (or the wealth of custom content) unless you're playing a module that enables it.

To install CEP, press the Subscribe button, then start the game.

Steam Workshop content in general (not just CEP) doesn't work unless the Steam client is running. That might be all that players need to know.

Module authors, who also need to get the content working in the toolset, seem to be having other problems.

My comments are unofficial, but I have noticed that everyone who moves Steam Workshop content to Documents finds that their issues go away. Again, this is not just CEP, but all Workshop content.

I don't understand what is the point of Subcribing if you have to download it manualy to get it to work. This has probubly been mentioned multiple times but I don't see any of the new classes in game when I am subscribed. From what I hear you have to do it manualy? Is there proper step by step instructions for installing the steam version?

just adding - ive just found out there is a document file for NWN I have added all the files to the corrosponding ones in there as well.. checked toolset again, still the same on custom content. Nothing there to select

I've joined servers that are running CEP files and they've all loaded so I know they're in the game, ( i think ) just nothing is coming up in the Custom Content part of the toolset.

@Proleric Ive added you as a friend maybe if you could chat to me that would be great to helping me solve this, thank you!! also ive checked your page and the proleric website, you guys have some cool looking stuff id love to play with!

ive had steam running the whole time,
also ive moved all the CEP files to the correct directory files in my NVN folder
In my discussion post ive linked below ive added links to printscreens of what comes up when i go into my custom content part of the toolset, and ive added printscreens of some of the CEP files to show they're in the right place.

but they still aren't showing up in my custom content, am i missing something ? (all the downloaded files from the CEP winRar i downloaded are in the right files in my NVN directory - have checked a few times now just to confirm)

Try with the Steam client running, or else move the CEP files from the Steam Workshop folders to the corresponding folders in Documents (hak, tlk etc).

Can someone help me on my discussion post ? the CEP isnt showing up in my custom content.. its like i did a big download and my toolset aurora doesnt even recognise anythings there

There is enough content for an entire expansion

.hak files were already put into the module properties, and I ran the conflicts check, which came back clean.

Your module needs to include the haks, in the order specified in the document "2.65 hak order.txt". Edit > Module Properties > Custom Content.

I'm pretty sure I've imported everything correctly. When I open up the toolset, the creatures appear in the custom section of the palette menu, but when I try to paint them, nothing shows up.

@Nilruin By design, there are no erf files for much of the new content in CEP, because they were causing bloat in some PWs. You don't actually need them. For example, when editing an existing creature or placeable, the Appearance drop down shows everything in CEP.

If you need the .erf files for some reason, put them in Documents > Neverwinter Nights > erf. In the toolset, File > Import. For placeables, there is an additional pack of .erf files on the Vault.

Installing CEP to use in a module works fine, but I can't seem to import .erf files into the toolset in order to use the CEP assets in my own module building. Which is a shame, because that's what I wanted to use it for.

Yes, I've been using it on Android for months. You'll also need a module that requires CEP because it doesn't alter the official campaign. My "Dark Energy" is one, there are plenty of others.

@*Yuki* bear in mind, this is a huge collection of the best NWN content, used by many modules, so, yes it's big, that's kinda the point, but you only need to download it once.

hey, I was wondering how to fix the problem where a bunch of shields are showing up as bags?

Steam CEP worked fine for me.

Just downloaded and now my toolset crashes every time I try to load the palette (even on an empty module). I'm back to downloading it the usual way. How this crap is top rated is beyond me.
