It's working fine for me. Make sure you don't have any add-ons that heavily modify or completely override the movement of the player.

It's supposed to cap your speed down on landing before the next jump. You can still apply air acceleration via strafing which is not limited with this.

The mod seams to slow me down after I jump not when I jump making me still gain enough speed to bhop. I played around with the setting and it did not change the result. From what what I can see either I have a mod which conflicts with yours or the mod itself is broken and needs fixing.

No, it only limits the speed during the jump frame. Any acceleration applied to the player afterwards is not dealt with in this addon.

I'll assume the first FAQ is part of this: your usual GMod installation would be in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod'. From there, you would go to the 'cfg' folder and server.cfg should be in there. If you're wanting to set the convar to 1 on a non-dedicated server (like LAN or P2P), you would edit the 'listenserver.cfg' instead of 'server.cfg'. Hope that helps ya.
