The first process you described worked for me! After use though, it messed up my spy bad, turning him from a Mann of Espionage to a garbled mess of sharp points, although, I am very sure that it was my fault for that. I hope your attempts to fix some of the cosmetics are going to be a charm.

FINALLY! Four months of waiting and finally some feedback! Can you please tell me what steps you followed to make it work? I'd really like to know so that if I fix other textures, I can repeat the same process I used!
