Thank you MaximGorkiy, Knox, Wolfoot and Rhylock! @Rhylock it should be possible on a starter planet but would require finding the resources in a POI or salvage a POI. Just keep in mind, this is a very old creation now made when all the rules of the game were different dealing with power, flight model, storage, and resources needed. I made a newer version of this being the Merc-MX9 which is also now out of date now, but it was updated a fair amount from the original MX8. And thanks again!

Added a Shield, 2 storage container (ammo and normal) 2 rails and 6 turrets.

Pronlem is: Any carrier vessels have not much space to landing wide "small vessels" im looking in the ws., but .... can be build the interior not into the wide but into the length in succession, you know?

Well, I would love to, but the reason why I tend to have wide ships is to have an interior space and keep the thrusters away from that interior space so it doesn't have heat problems etc. But this thinking leads to wider ships. Maybe I will make one without an interior sometime in which it would be much easier to have a sleeker ship that way. Thanks again!

Thank you Ronnin79 and Oddux! @Oddux, the recent MX9 and MX9R were supposed to replace this one. They were built from the chassis of this ship. Basically I smoothed it out some, switched storage to alpha 9 specs, and changed the colors. The MX9R should be a direct replacement where the MX9 is lacking a bit due to 7500 CPU restrictions. I love the firepower and agility in the smaller package this has, but I also love the high protected cockpit setup and forward armor of the MXR. Its a tough choice.

Far best from this series, size, speed weaponry... Everything great!

This one is future proofed for A9. Just need to swap out some boxes, and make some simple changes. Base design is below CPU count.

Hi there! I love your ships! I was wondering if you have a mid-heavy defensive SV that either has (or i can add) a hatch on top for me to release my drone and use while still in the ship? I have been using this SV for a while now and I really like it. Thankyou very much :). I almost "upgraded" to the MX18 but it was a little too wide for my CV, but I really like the MX8 anyway..

This is my "daily driver" ship for about a month or so. Beautiful and sturdy. I took off some guns that I never use and installed 2 more fuel tanks and front lights. Probably added a motion sensor to extend the ramp and open the door.

This is a great ship! It looks cool, has lots of guns and can carry lots of things.

I will admit, I gutted the inside and added more cargo boxes and 2 extra seats.

I have been using this for some time now. Quite impressive! Very good for knocking down POIs.
I modified mine to taste. Took out a few mobile constructors and added a couple RCS, a fridge and more fuel and oxy tank/s. Tried that modification for a couple of weeks and liked it so well I now have 2. :)

Awesome Design thank you very much. I did the same as WhiteWalker and put in an internal cockpit. But great ship it has everything you need and is very compact cheers.

Pantoffeldiertje, My guess would be either the CV or SV got set to public, and don't match. IDK really. I haven't seen the problem or heard anything about it.

Hi, I removed the landing gear and placed them back, after that I was able to dock the CV!

I also tried it a bit (will do coördinated POI tonight with some people, I'll use this ship to test further) and the sheer firepower is awesome. It feels very sluggish though, turning takes forever (thrust is okay, it's the RCSes). Tonight I'll get some hands on experience with destroying stuff :-).

Hi, really cool vessel. I would like to use it on my CV, but it won't land (neither on CV and bases). Do you know what I am doing wrong? I checked, but the ramp is closed (it also sticks a bit out).
