For everyone who's looking to fix the rainbow water issue, just disable Ambient Occlusion, then it should work properly from there

man am i the only one who doesn't use ao?

I was searching the Workshop for something similar of the sort, but unfortunately seeing this does not support AO, I'm going to have to give it a hard pass as I render all my artworks with AO. I'm not sure what this map would be used for exactly since its broken, but I guess it's cool scenery. I hope you find a fix for this at some point.

Never had this happen to me, maybe try downloading it, loading it as a mod, and yakno drag it to the top of the mod list so it gets loaded first nsuch

It is normal that the map crashes SFM, and after that, it is impossible to reopen the map again, because it closes SFM?

tis a shame cause the map itself is so damn pretty but thats a huge deal breaker for me.

I am sorry, but don't shoot the messenger, I tried for days to make it work, its not the map that's broken, its the SFM AO shader its-self

if you have to disable AO, its not SFM ready. AO is extremely important to renders.

Couldn't tell you why (because honestly i don't think anyone really knows), all i can tell you is how to work around it, by disabling ambient occlusion, it works great. (my theory is that the shader used by ambient occlusion, doesn't play well with real-time reflections on water in the 3d skybox, mainly because real-time reflections are disabled on water in the 3d skybox (mostly?(not to mention water is also meant to be invisible in 3d skyboxes, but this is SFM)) and secondly because sfm is a independent person and cant be told to not take acid.(or cubemaps))
