I don't really know, just from Missing Info I've seen the Elite Cop use old Metro Cop anims, and I never saw the Metro Cop nor Elite Cop use the XM29, however, I do believe now after re-examining the anims that the animations are likely modified from the original SMG1 animations.

@EveryCafe It's not a re-skin, the XM29 is it's own separate weapon as well as having it's own animations for the model. The Elite Cop uses mostly normal retail release Metrocop anims.
