Every color swap is actually a separate collection of sprites for that color.
That's also how some modded tiles have special patterns when colored.

I wound up subscribing to MMM instead and it worked like a charm. Just a heads up that something's odd. Obviously not everyone has this issue, but considering I've never had any Starbound issues before and this and the requisite mod were the only ones I had installed, there's some sort of problem.
Just tried it. Seems to work just fine. Opening both UIs and modifying the values at the same time seem to work fine too - except that modifying the value through MMM won't change the value in MMC, but modifying in MMC change the value in MMM.
The initial load of MMC takes a very long time though. Not sure why.
One question: what would happen if I use this alongside Matter Manipulator Manipulator? If I modify the values through MMM, will this one be modified too?
(By the way I mean the MMM version prior to Quickbar-Mini requirement)
