@m43.d43 well my friend you won't wait any longer, i made this mod functional in L4D1 campaigns again.

Yes i can confirm that this mod only works on L4D2 campaigns now. TLS update has seperated L4D2 and L4D1 infected and common zombies :)

I think this mod needs an update since the last stand update. sv_consistency 0 wont work either :/

Is this mod dead? I get a smoker.mdl error every time i try to join or even start a single player game. I haven't played in like 7 months or so. Maybe an update to the game has broken the mod?

This is a fantastic mod, but just today, when ever I load in the mod, I get this message: "Server is enforcing consistency for this file: models/infected/smoker.mdl"

Can you get the black dark smoke because originaly the smoker had black smoke becuase he was a pop in and pop out infected that grabs you with his toungh then he would spit out block smoke that would do a pioson effect!

@Revenant100- While the Smoker did wear an orange/yellow shirt in the very early screenshots, in the actual beta gameplay he wore a dirty light green shirt and faded blue jeans, and he had no tongue hanging out (and when it did shoot out, it was black)

@usbfridge The Smoker did wear an orange shirt in early beta screenshots as seen here: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t280/left4dead411/smoker2.jpg . However, these screenshots are much too dark to create an accurate beta-style recreation, so I chose to use the source concept art as a base instead.

This isn't exactly "beta-style" like the rest of your mods, since there are in-game screens of the beta that clearly show the smoker was just a little darker than before, and had that "last breath poison cloud" thing.

Simple but beatifully made. Imo this makes the smokers color palette look more visually appealing. Shame this skin isnt more popular.

Love it! If only you could do all of the special infected so I no longer have to look at those ugly new special infected in L4D2
