The Canadian skin for my 389 now is working fine. So not sure what was going on before. Must been a glitch. but thanks anyways.

Correction it now not working. I went to truck repair shop and tried select canadian skin and no longer working, Just shows red truck. Yes running DX11.

Hey Just wanted let you know, I tried loading ATS in both DX12/Vulkan. In Vulkan game just crash, ahh ok lol. In DX12 for ATS, the Canadian Skin isn't showing the white wrap on the truck anymore. So if you have Red truck, just see the Red paint, I no longer see white Canadian flag or white strip on the doors and cab. Just wanted let you know. My other truck skin seem be fine in DX12.

I thought let you know incase ATS ever goes full DX 12 only. Yes dx 12/Vulkan are experimental. So no doubt some thing will be broken till SCS continue to fix them. Yes Canadian skin still works and run fine with DX11. I just got out hospital from blood clots, so it's good get back to trucking again. To force ATS run in DX 12/Vulkan use these commands properties and launch options.

-rdevice dx12
-rdevice vk

Oh dang, I did not know that. but does make sense why I have been unable find any 389 mods for ETS2. That suck its due just license, but make sense.

there's a special statement from SCS that explicitly states that porting SCS content from one game to the other is forbidden, it has to do with demands from manufacturers relating to the legal use of the licenses. All the concerned mods were taken down from the SCS forums and Steam. But no I dont no anyone who does

I dont make trucks or port over to other games. That Pete is Vipers old 389. So many people have had their hands on it that its all broken now.

Screenshot of truck using that other link. it's nice looking 389 truck, but it's got issue. And this truck since using default name " peterbilt.389" My Zee's paid mod (Cat/Cummin) work with it.

But every other ETS old school truck i'v tried so far seem have some issue with it. So that why I am asking if you could port over SCS 389 truck?
The only thing missing on default SCS 389 missing is jake brake light on Dashboard.

So could make 389 and or W900 to ETS2?
(oh D/L file i used was just the "Peterbilt389" file, Sorry forgot mention that for other link)
If you don't own ETS2, Could you still make the ETS2 399 truck mod? I'll be happy test it if you want?

Would it be possible for you port over default SCS 389/W900 truck over to ETS2?. Recently my friend just bought me ETS2 I didn't think I'd enjoy it cus not fan of right hand drive, but once found old school truck am very much enjoy it. But I been having issue finding good 389 Truck mod.

I love your mod and you do such Awesome job, and you been friendly. I was wondering if it be possible if you could at least port over SCS 389 to ETS2? Could port canada skin with SCS 389 truck for ETS2? if not man then no worries.

Atm using this mod but its kinda broken, mirror are broken and headlight super bright. I doubt that modder will ever update it cus other ppl have ask but didn't reply. I tried other 389 for trucks for ETS, but they broken too.

SCS just push out huge update for W900 (was 11.6 GB for me) that broke W900 Canada skin. But make sense, they just did bunch of update and added so much more features too W900.

Hey man, Thanks for the reply, Um sure that be fine for just for w900. Would love that. So you can't just put the word 'Canada' on white stripe somewhere else if needed? if not, its not a big deal.
I do just love red and white stripe with Canada maple leaf. It reminds me of old house I grew up back in Ontario (near Toronto) before I moved to farm in Alberta,Ca in the 90's. We use to have big old maple tree on front yard and I remember spending day climbing that old tree.

If I make one for the SCS W900 it would have to be on the Alt UV template(one sided with no text) so it would be just the stripes and leaf. The normal UV template is broken around the door joints and the bunk windows and it breaks the stripes. Let me know

This is for the SCS 389 but it wont break unless SCS changes the model of the 389 which I doubt the will ever do cuz that would mean they would have to edit all their own skins for the truck and they wont spend doing that.

I agree with Keagan that SCS missed a chance to appeal to the Canadian trucking fanbase during Canada's 150th birthday.... With tweets and all hyped up towards them, yet nothing happened. I thank you for this skin, yet I don't have this truck.
