Seems to still work perfectly fine in repentance, tested it duplicating a ton of the new pickups and they all work. Could still be an issue somewhere I haven't seen but seems to work perfectly fine

I really, really think changing the diplopia to d1 would be a super fun change!

I think it would be much more balanced if it only copied one pick-up, similar to the d1-- that way, you could pick which pickup you wanted doubled instead of having all of them doubled. I think it would make the item more fun to use!

I think the Diplopia was fine. If you manage to kill a boss before the feather lands you deserve two boss items.

It is an angel item, that might possibly balance it out a bit. I don't know. Crack the sky is a treasure room item.

The soul hearts that it can create completely trivialize the game too. Perhaps, if there is a drop on the ground, the drop turns into a soul heart? Or it spawns a random pick-up with a high chance of a soul heart?

I really think that you should have to touch the feather for it to work, it feels weird for it to be completely passive. It is also insanely overpowered and clears the game for you. I think the number of crack the sky beams should be lowered, or perhaps do less damage to make the item balanced without making it too weak :)

Just throwing this out, make crack the sky happen 4/5 rooms. In rooms that the enemies are not clear, double them 1/5. On bosses, just don't have it work. I think this would really balance the item.

On empty rooms, have it spawn enemies on the 1/5 chance.

With double reward I mean of course:

"1. If the room was cleared while it was falling, every consumable in the room will be doubled (Jera Rune effect). If no consumables exist, a Soul Heart will spawn instead."

I personally would even find a combination of both for the best.
Are you fast enought, double reward. When you are too slow it hast a 30% chance to get crack the sky with no rewards. If you are too slow and don't get Crack the Sky, you get normal rewards for the room.
This could be a good balanced Item, which is not too OP in my opinion.

But in the end these are my thoughts, the item and the decisions belong to you.

I will try to clarify my point:

The Item has the great effect, if you clear a room fast enough, you get the double reward.
On the other hand, are you too slow, you get a massive clear power from Crack the Sky.
But, why do you get a reward, when you fail your task?
Especially with Bosses you have a very easy game with the second effect.
The first option would be to reduce the chances of the crack the sky effect.
30%-50% would be enough if you consider that you have the chance in every room.
The other option would be to get a deal. You get the Crack the Sky effect, but because you were too slow you get zero rewards for the Room. No pickups etc.

Just updated the item: the feather can no longer double pedestal items (Diplopia -> Jera Rune).

The Idea is pretty nice, but i have the feeling, Crack the Sky effect (in the worst case) is too strong for every room. Maybe you should do it a bit challenging.
If you Clear it > Diplopia/Jera Effect
If you don't clear it > No Rewards for the Room.
So it will not Clear the entire Game for you. Atm, it is too strong.

@Mandrill, you mean the Diplopia effect? If so, you have to remember that Treasure Rooms don't spawn in the challenge + the whole point is to double trinkets (which Jera can't do).

@Mandrill, I'll probably nerf the Diplopia effect soon, yes. It'll likely be replaced to Jera's effect (outside the challenge atleast).

@Loose-e, it could be. There's a whole bunch of API functions that don't work on Mac. That is up to Nicalis to fix.

I'm running this on my school mac (I have a PC at home and the mods works on it) so is it the fact the mod doesn't cope with OS?

@Loose-e, Could you tell me if there are any errors (Ctrl+F the word "error") in the log.txt file found under Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+\log.txt ?

When I get the item, when i enter a room I can see the shadow but it never falls. And if I'm in a large room, I can see it swaying back and forth but not moving down

You are that guy who plays a hard game like dark souls but abuses the fuck out of all the soul glitches and exploits on easiest difficulty, and never stops bragging about how they beat a hard game.
It was harder to sit through your video then it would be to beat hush with this mod activated.
