@TheGreatWars That'd be op on marathon, for sure, however it'd barely matter on Quick, especially considering that most matches merely last around 200 turns, with units and buildings being produced within 1-2 turns per city near the end, with most of the techs specified only researched and buildable at points like Turn 50, unless directly beelined - 750 production means nothing in comparison to 250 production, in those games, basically (can't use it fast enough).
Anyhow: That isn't the case, so don't worry.

@kel hey +1 production per turn what does that mean like it will go up to +10 production after 10 turns or is it just adding +1 to every turn? Im guessing it +1 to every turn but i want to make sure because if it just keep going up +1 a little broken for all leaders

Are you running any other mods at the same time? Some mods are incompatible with one another, and can crash the game when loaded together.

Everytime I try running it my game crashes is there anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know how to fix it?

newbie here.. got other mods to work on mac.. question... in pc all i had to do was subscribe to get mod.. but i had to find the mod from civfanatic, unzip and then move to work on mac.
can u tell me where else i can go to get your mod apart from steam?.. cos steam is gay

Yes. The buildings still give their original yield of strategic resources. This just gives them additional culture/production output with a later tech.

Also, as in 'still provides the resources'?
Becuase I have mods that make Iron, horses, ect always usable for mod buildings.

@Kel, unloading civil war mod allowed Setup to be displayed. Trying the mod now.

Kel, no Single Player is not greyed out but it only offers the load game option and custom game options. There is no new game or set-up option. I tried starting a game and immediately saving it, then going to mods and loading this version no luck. I also have the civil war mod loaded. I will try unloading this mod while waiting for a resonse.

Thanks for the reply Kel i wouldnt put it past my bad luck hahah :D going to start a few games gradualy introducing mods till i nail it.

@daveprice1000 This mod doesn't change map resource spawns at all. I just started a game with only my mods on, and iron spawned right next to my city. You're either having very strange luck, or another mod may be changing things.

@tkrisher Are you saying that the "Single Player" selection is grayed out, after activating mods? If so, you may have an old version of my mod and need to update. If you don't have an old version, some mod conflict may be happening. Try disabling all other mods and see if it will work. I just tested this with a clean install, and it worked with no problem.

Was using this and the srb mod it requires but no matter how many times i played there was no iron on my maps.

BLÀde, the difference is that Strategic Resource Buildings has the actual mod, and this just makes the buildings useful after the resources they make become obsolete.

I get the broken "Single Player" selection now as well. Didn't do this during tests on two different computers before publishing it. Working on it now.

I can't start a game with this mod loaded - the "Single Player" selection above the list of included mods (both this and your base Strategic Resource Buildings mod, no others) is unselectable and I can only hit "Back." No amount of waiting makes it available. Of note, your base mod loads up just fine. Is there possibly a v.2 of the base mod that hasn't hit the Workshop, yet?
