Why do this? The mod is awesome, but why make uncustomized heads and faces?

For anyone wanting to add other helmets and heads, go to the XComContent.ini file of another mod, find the head or helmet piece you want and add CharacterTemplate="HKSoldier" at the end. Not sure if this is important, but all of mine were after bVeteren=False.

Now to find a way to add "None" to the helmet options :D

(As of right now my way to get no helmet is to use a mod that allows copy and pasting of outfits, choosing one that doesnt have a helmet)

Any way to allow customisation of the heads and helmets? Im able to change everything else but i want to use a different mod's heads and helmets

@RealityMachina Firstly, thanks for all the amazing mods over the years. One of the masters!

This mod looks done but in case you're still active on AU/ARC mods, I'm wondering if the HK Droid could have it's Proving Ground build costs exposed to config like the Geth mod?

This would help with cost balancing across the various 'robotic' mods (HK, BX, EWR, Geth) that might be thrown together when running the ARC Faction.

TimRtec If you make a template soldier you can use a mod that lets you copy outfits to copy the new outfits onto an HK Droid... I have been trying to figure out how to allow full customization on them but im pretty bad at this stuff so im mostly lost.

Found in the ini section where obtaining these as rookies is turned off. I was able to change that. Going through the U File now to change the code to only produce LWS_Assault. After building 100 of these prior to making changes, I received ZERO Assault, yet it pulled from classes from Shadow_Ops and Vanilla but not from Long War classes.

This mod works with LWotC. However, constructing HK units should not result in a Random Class.

Analogy:
If I build a watch to count time in 24 hour format, the watch will not automatically become 12 hour format.
Meaning:
I build and program the unit's AI, I should have some say in its class.

I only want this unit as an Assault Class and Shotgun build. Unfortunately, they are built as Squaddies and are auto-promoted. Due to all the class mods, I get how this would be hard to code, but can't you make it work with Commander's Choice or Draw from the Character Pool using the Character Pool's class?

Or add in the ini file a line that forces all HK to be contructed as a particular class but commented out to give users a choice.

Does Assassination Protocol and Information gathering work in conjunction with melee attacks? I'm trying to decide if making a Stormrider HK is a good idea or not.

I think I've encountered a bug with this mod. I got one as a reward unit and it ended up as gravely wounded later on, but it hasn't healed at all a few months later, and the time to heal is just blank. Is there anything special I need to do for it, or is it a bug and effectively dead to me?

I was wondering if there's a way to add more helmet models to the units, i want to use Cavily's Star Wars B1 Battle Droid with this mod, but it only shows the hk's heads

I don't really find them to be cost effective or competative . For 2 elerium cores, I'd rather have a mec unit, a spark, or a geth unit or even an exo suit.

KILLERm12 not that i can tell. I used another mod to change an hk's class to its rookie base and it disarmed him. Im pretty sure the hk series is just an improved soldier

@Silvre I haven't experienced that issue, but are you possibly using the Augmentations mod? Thats the status that comes up when a unit needs an augmentation to be fielded again.

Im loving them in combat, but every time i have gotten one injured he is out for the rest of the campaign. It says "Lightly injured --- Days" and they never heal up. Is anyone else having this issue?

Had a weird bug pop up with a HK Sharpshooter. He started doing what read as 153-153 damage when aiming, actually popped up as 15 when attacking, with his pistol on every attack. Not sure what was causing that interaction.

There's a wotc version of the voice pack. You should switch the dependancy to that.
