If i take on mapping, i finish one map and im done for about the entire year.
Perhaps my practice is more accurate than i anticipated.

ctf is a fun gamemode in my opinion and this map should be added to the very few ctf maps

i know its just a testbench but why are there missing textures in the water? is it because of HL2 textures?

its great fun to play on this map, people just dont understand the fun of it

just try maybe make it a lot more different it is one of the most hated maps and valve might want 2 change that

This is a competition now son! I'm also making a better remake of turbine but not one that has weird textures all over the main room lel xD

went a little overboard on the texturing for the main room in the center where players fight. And I dont get why there is a pool of W A T E R in the center xD
I was planning on downloading the .vmf of turbine then remake into a 3 stage payload map where you have to go outside :P

I think something that would work is to keep the part of the floor that goes down thats in red and blus hallways level to the rest of the maps main floor

it's just turbine with a bunch of random props scattered around, random lights and constant conflicting themes

here's an idea: turn it from CTF to a 3cp (similar to a 5cp in that there is a middle point and one that is owned by each team at the start)

as for the nightmare before smissmas ill look into it

1. You should use some of the Swamp TF2Maps items to get rid of the half life textures so the requirements appeal to everyone
2. Does it count as a reskin if you change parts of the map to make the map better? Valve did that with Banana Bay as they changed the map while it was live in the update.
3. You should also maybe slap some snow in the background and add some halloween decor and submit this for the Nightmare Before Smissmas TF2Maps event cause this would be a pretty close winner if it were.

there's also an area portal texture in the red vent that's solid

why is the vent hole that allows you to get in the intel room for red blocked?

I'd be nice if there were more screenshots to look at.

This map doesn't really feel like Turbine. it feels more like a botanical garden with supply crates everywhere.
