@Meli I don’t like surface resources as a game mechanic, and so the original form of the map relied exclusively on what you could delve from the ground. Which the small islands of raiders realm makes quite difficult. However I was since coerced into adding surface resources, and decided that as a balancing factor, the Raiders realm would require a significant amount of iron, at least. For best results, I do recommend the map (and the game) without surface resources. I think it makes the game less rush-oriented and gives you time to actually build a castle.

I've fallen out of castle story for awhile, though even while I was into it, my focus was on balanced maps for multiple players, but if I get back into it I could definitely give it a try. @applesauce.

btw if you can try making like a helms deep map were you make your last stand with small aamout of units and reasorces

I got two more positive ratings in the last day... I may be watching these numbers obsessively, but it makes me absurdly happy that you guys like my content. Btw I do have one smaller map that works for 1.0 and on, and i have some content released for Space Engineers if anyone plays that. Just pointing it out haha.

(I would cry actual tears of joy if my map got enough good ratings to have 4 or 5 stars on steam workshop... just saying)

Holy shit guys this exploded a bit! Thanks for all the attention! I'm gonna redouble my efforts to put out a second version with pre-prepared starting castles and extra resources for a moshpit battle.

Planned updates: More iron, a second version with pre-constructed castles and more resources for pure combat enjoyment, and possibly bridges between the central island cluster.
