Yes, it still works, all it does is upscale a system unless systems get dramatically changed I don't see this mod breaking ever.
I kind of need a replacement for the real space mod since I use All These Worlds 2.0, and the only legacy version of the real space system scale mod is part of a bundle of other mods.
If you have the time and interest, please do something to fix this. I really like the content of this mod so much that I tried to fix the problems myself, but I know almost nothing about modding and have no idea where to start.

Also, does this mod require all the DLC affected - like Overlord to be present or is it just if it's not present, the mod won't write and won't fire.

My game CTD'd on completing the Crystal Rift and creating the wormhole to azilash. Disabling 10x System Scale, letting the wormhole and system generate, then turning the mod back on worked.
Dyson Swarms can no longer be dismantled.
Also found a mod conflict where the Cybrex Alpha ringworld is just four disconnected pieces, gonna see if I can track it down.
Loaded back my old save and found a ringworld that would've been generated on game start by the vanilla gen (Alpha Refuge) and lo and behold the ringworld segments were connected, while the rest of the ringworlds in the galaxy were still broken.
So I dug deeper and parsed my entire mod collection for anything that modified Ringworlds and I believe I found it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2184737698
Which after reading the description is obvious since it mentions being incompatible with other mods that edit Ringworlds and also doesn't fire until after the game starts. Sadly testing this for sure is difficult since any changes made will only apply to Ringworlds constructed after they are applied. It doesn't look like making a compatibility patch would be too difficult however.
If I have some free time I'll test out if it is ACTUALLY the shipsets at fault or something else, but I'm pretty sure I've ruled out everything else in my playlist.
i do use your Real star systems mod but that runs fin without this one enabled
