Yes, it still works, all it does is upscale a system unless systems get dramatically changed I don't see this mod breaking ever.

I kind of need a replacement for the real space mod since I use All These Worlds 2.0, and the only legacy version of the real space system scale mod is part of a bundle of other mods.

I think the best solution seems to be to make a 3x or 5x version.

I hope you can make a version that allows the camera to zoom in bigger, or a version that makes the ships move slower, or a version that includes other stuff but restores the ship speed and system scale to the original version. Because in fleet view and default view, the ships can't be zoomed in very big, and the speed of the ships makes it impossible for me to see what's going on during the battle. I just see a few green thin lines flying past me, shooting something too fast to see clearly, a few small and almost invisible ships disappearing, and then the battle is over. I think this is the biggest problem with this mod.
If you have the time and interest, please do something to fix this. I really like the content of this mod so much that I tried to fix the problems myself, but I know almost nothing about modding and have no idea where to start.

@Corax They work in terms of function but not it terms of graphics. Ring world don't look right but still work for example.

The Guilli's + 10xSS interaction I mentioned is specifically about the incorrect appearance of Cybrex Alpha (unless there were other crossmod issues that I didn't notice)

So from Histidine's comments this means that Guilli's will create specific problems or general problems? Looking at the Wiki and the mods I want to use my take is for them to work right they have to go below 10x System Scale correct. Ones I'm looking at are: Forgotten Empires, Planetary Diversity, Guilli's of course.

Guessing Amazing Space Battles should still work though.

Also, does this mod require all the DLC affected - like Overlord to be present or is it just if it's not present, the mod won't write and won't fire.

When in system view, clicking on a hyperlane arrow or a wormhole doesn't move to the connected system, the camera just drifts uncontrollably in that direction; have to escape by returning to galaxy map.

(Hyperlane arrows are too small btw, they should be visible without zooming in)

Found it: was Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features , and loading 10xSS after it in the playset doesn't solve this.

Couple of bugs I encountered in a fairly heavily modded run:

My game CTD'd on completing the Crystal Rift and creating the wormhole to azilash. Disabling 10x System Scale, letting the wormhole and system generate, then turning the mod back on worked.

Dyson Swarms can no longer be dismantled.


Also found a mod conflict where the Cybrex Alpha ringworld is just four disconnected pieces, gonna see if I can track it down.

Well I suppose that lessens that as a possibility. Testing this has been a PITA since it doesn't seem to affect galaxy generation on game start. Will post again if I find anything.

A good find! Unfortunately my install lacks that particular mod so on my end it's still an issue (hadn't had the time to test things thoroughly) but it's good to know what kinds of mods might impact this.

Update: Loaded a new game with only NSC3 + Gigas + Custom shipset with a shattered ringworld origin and the ringworld was fine.

Loaded back my old save and found a ringworld that would've been generated on game start by the vanilla gen (Alpha Refuge) and lo and behold the ringworld segments were connected, while the rest of the ringworlds in the galaxy were still broken.

So I dug deeper and parsed my entire mod collection for anything that modified Ringworlds and I believe I found it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2184737698

Which after reading the description is obvious since it mentions being incompatible with other mods that edit Ringworlds and also doesn't fire until after the game starts. Sadly testing this for sure is difficult since any changes made will only apply to Ringworlds constructed after they are applied. It doesn't look like making a compatibility patch would be too difficult however.

Just encountered the ringworld issue myself ( https://imgur.com/kNvp2xp ). I also am using a custom shipset but also cannot confirm if it happens without one atm. Only other conflict I can think of would be Gigastructures.

@mzilli For every custom shipset I've tried, ring worlds end up breaking apart into disconnected pieces.

If I have some free time I'll test out if it is ACTUALLY the shipsets at fault or something else, but I'm pretty sure I've ruled out everything else in my playlist.

Too bad this mod seems to break Ringworlds with most custom shipsets. Oh well, it's about the best option I've got lol.

Hmm, I want to make a system with seven stars. The Ildirans' Home system is based on the Book The Saga of the Seven Suns. The Unary Star of Ildira is centered in the middle of these seven Stars, and the Planet of Ildira doesn't have night. There is a pair, a trinary, and another unary in there.

I will say one thing is that I love that this mod makes planets and stars seem realistically apart, but nothing else is changed so its compatible with so many other mods. The only issue is that the ringworlds usually do not look like what they're depicted as. Especially when you build them. other than that this is one of my favorites.

Found the mod that thos are from its Real Space 3.8 so your mod and his are not compatible :( they where in 3.9 so idk

@mzilli i do run a decent amount of mods with my game tho the only fix that ive found is disabling your mod, im 2xing now on if there are any others that would interact with it

i do use your Real star systems mod but that runs fin without this one enabled

Re-subscribe to resolve the issue.Was it considered to make every model segment of the ringworld colonizable while increasing the cost of the ringworld.
