Ringworld Fix for 10x System Scale

描述
What This Mod Does
This is a compatibility patch that fixes the visual gaps on Gigastructural Engineering's Ringworlds (Titanic, Behemoth, and Gargantuan) and corrects the scale of the Alderson Disk when using the 10x System Scale mod.

This ensures the ridiculously massive megastructures look as big as they were intended to be.

If you want to increase the size of the star so that it has a comparable, realistic, or a "perfect scale" size to these massive megastructures, as in you didn't like the size ratio of the megastructure compared to the star, you can (if you don't play ironman) use the following command: "planet_size", by selecting the star followed by the number of size you wanted. For example, "planet_size 100" would make the star really huge, which in 10x System Scale would be a bit similar to vanilla's star size by scale or Real Space's (6x) System Scale star size.

IMPORTANT! As of 4.1.7, the recent patch breaks the gfx models of the first ring of Ringworld (not the Titanic and the others).

So, for workaround, I make the Titanic Ringworld buildable, so you could still build a Ringworld in the 10x System Scale.

However, if you didn't mind about the graphical bugs, all the gaps and how small it is, the original vanilla-like / first ring of the Ringworld could still be build.

This graphical bugs only occurs if you have a huge modlist (similar to my 100 mods playset). If you plays with only 10x System Scale and Gigastructures, the mod still works perfectly. I suppose this bug is related to my mod being incompatible with other mods that modify Ringworlds (probably both vanilla and Gigastructures one).

Requirements & Load Order
This patch is specific to the required mods and probably will not work unless your load order is correct.

Required Mods:
  • Gigastructural Engineering & More
  • 10x System Scale

Load Order:
This mod must be placed below both of the required mods to function.

... Other Megastructures Mods... Gigastructural Engineering & More Other Megastructures Mods... 10x System Scale My Mod (This One) ...

Features & What to Expect
  • The primary Giga Ringworlds should now connect properly, with all sections aligned at 10x scale.
  • The Alderson Disk is no longer tiny and misplaced.
  • Warning: The Behemoth and Gargantuan Ringworlds are scaled to 10x and will be enormous, thus extending far beyond the system's borders.
  • The Alderson Disk is now scaled up 10x. This makes it so large that it will likely prevent the construction of gateways or hyper relays within the system. So, it is recommended to build it in a "useless" star system.
  • This mod does not touch or affect vanilla Ringworld, only Giga's Ringworld(s).

Known Issues
  • The construction-phase graphics (the green "hologram") for the Giga Ringworlds will appear misplaced and out of alignment particularly for Titanic, Behemoth, and Gargantuan.
  • This is a visual-only bug. When construction is complete, the final, built Ringworld will appear correctly and in the proper, aligned position.
  • The Alderson Disk construction and final model should work perfectly. I am still investigating the cause of the Ringworld construction visual bug.

Bug Reports & Credits
I'm still a new modder, so if you find any other visual bugs or issues with the Giga Ringworlds or Alderson Disk, please let me know in the comments.

This patch was heavily inspired by the https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3549886788 mod, the Real Space's System Scale version.

@friedbread Well, when only Giga and 10x are enabled, the mod is working perfectly. When I enabled it in my 100 mods playset, only the Ringworlds are broken. I'll try to fix it. For now, the only thing that still works is the Alderson Disk.

@friedbread I'll check it as soon as I got the time

The recent update seems to have broken the mod since its not working despite being loaded correctly
