These cosmetics look very cool, is it safe to assume it’s compatible with LWOTC too? And would I have to start a new save to install them or can I add the mod and continue an existing game I’m playing with no problems?

Got them to appear.

By the end of the whole ordeal this is what I had done:

Deleted the game
Went into my Documents folder and deleted both of the game folders there
Unsubbed from the mod
Redownloaded
Started a new campaign (Just saved and exited during the first mission)
Resubbed to this mod
For some reason when I got to this point and went straight to the character pool they weren't there, so I backed out, unsubbed and resubbed to the mod another time and that finally got them to appear.

The solution for everyone is problem different so I figured it'd help everyone more to post the whole process rather than give sparse details. Hope this helps someone down the line, this mod spoiled me so much I couldn't go back to playing the game without it.

I was able to run the non-WOTC version no problem, but this one just refuses to even show up for me. I have it enabled but when I go into character pool none of them are there. Like some people here have suggested I've unsubbed and resubbed multiple times, verified files, reinstalled the game, started a campaign before subscribing and still nothing. Has anyone experiencing this issue found something that worked for them? About to go back to playing vanilla at this point.

@E.V.Bot do you think at some point you could add the ability to use headsets as a upper and/or lower? iv got some other mask mods that dont have headsets and for the life of me i couldnt find anything to resemble the ones in this mod. just food for thought.

I like how this mod adds some proper cosmetics without messing with the overall style of the game. Always wanted something looking serious but never found anything that doesnt out of place in this game. I just wish there was some armor variants but these kinda fit the current armor sets so its not really a problem. Great mod :DDD

@Bitz - It works after reinstalling the game, than i doing first start of a game...exit. And than resubscribe the mod. Choose ON mods and turn on WOTC before start. I check soldier editor in main menu and now i see there this accessories.

How do you get these cosmetics to appear? I opened up WOTC with mods enabled and it didn't appear, do I have to follow the prop modding guide? Or is it just a case of this mod being outdated and no longer working?

@C=64 No idea how I would fix it, all this mod does is add customisation options and makes no functional changes at all.

This seems to be a very rare issue that sometimes resolves by removing my mod and sometimes does not, it's possible that another mod is interacting with my new character equipment in a weird way but they are set up the same way as the vanilla equipment so I've no idea.

It was reported back when I was working on the mod but I was never able to replicate the issue myself, so I had no way to troubleshoot a fix.

There isn't really any way for me to look in to it now as I haven't had the dev tools installed for years.

Great mod, but it looks like it doesn't get along with The Lost mission - the Lost just stand there, and the evac zone won't trigger. Perhaps there's a weird interaction with another mod, but when I remove Capnbubs everything works again.

I'm sorry I haven't played the game in a long time so I'm unsure what could be causing that, I've heard that using the alternate launcher can solve some problems.

Thanks for the mod. When I use it , all the head covers are listed. When I try to use them. Only about half are seen on the figure. Do you have any suggestions?

If I remember correctly the neck covering is included in the tier 3 armour, which is why it's not on the tier 3 helmets.

the warden helmet does not appear to have a neck covering in my game, idk if the screenshot on the mod page is wrong or not, but it's annoying seeing exposed skin in what should be a sealed suit.

If you guys use this mod and got errors USE the AML because Firaxis won't bother optimizing their own launcher,if you ever use mod. Most of the time the alternative mod launcher created by the modding community is better

@GodBrand: Yes, purely cosmetic mods like this normally have no compatability problems, as long as you have the required dlc (in this case WotC).

Does this work with LWOTC?

I figured it out, 2k's launcher had updated and it messed everything up somehow. Everything seems to be working now.

verify steam files and delete the xcom 2 documents folder before starting a new game should help.
!!save your character poll first if you have one!... if this doesnt help there is a mod incompability and you didnt subscribe to the vanilla version of this mod.. did you ?

None of these appear for my customization even though my mods are enabled, and some of my other mods work fine. Any idea what's going wrong?

@BlueGuy try the Alternative Mod Launcher, that'll probably make it work. Plus it's helpful for keeping track of conflicts between mods as your list gets bigger.

anyone else having trouble getting cosmetic change mods working since the the new 2k launcher? I cant go back to the vanilla cosmetics after this please. I (now) have the "manage mods" tab with the new launcher but even with them enabled the mods never show up in game like they use. Please if anyone has a fix or even an idea to get this to work let me know.

So the non expansion version of this mod works fine with the game, but for whatever reason this version just does not work with my Wotc. Is there another mod I need to be able to use it?
