Problem is another mod: Squad Manager. After disabling the left Soldier shows up.

@lex.g_1492 I have the same bug. Its always the left one. Im pretty sure that wasnt the case the last time i played the game (years ago)

I have a bug where one soldier's menu is not shown unless I remove him or another soldier from the squad and add again.
Does anybody have the same issue or know how to fix it?

Not in my experience, but use something like MSI Afterburner to check.

Am I right to assume that this mod eats up RAM? Because when I issue orders with squads >6, the game noticeably lags a bit.
Does this mod work ? I tried a lot of diffrent fixes but no matter what I do my squad is stuck at the base 4 soldiers.

This mod doesn't work at all, i tried so many thing, even unsub, delete ini file or whatever
only the very first mission start with my selected squad (i pick 8)

but the very next mission it return back to 4

For anyone wondering, its the basic ability of the class that your rookies get promoted to (i.e. ranger basic ability is slash, grenadier basic ability is launch grenade).

there's a bug where the soldiers automatically selected by the game becomes invisible unless you go to another tab to then refresh the lineup

@Moofrog, six is what shows on the loadout screen and you must rotate them to get to the ones behind to come to the front. Reason I am answering was coming to see if any mention of showing up to 12 on loadout screen for ultrawide. The ultrawide replacement has a glitch with my mod set that duplicates a soldier in loadout covering a specific soldier that must be loaded out from the armory and pray she doesnt drop equipment; the Jane Kelly mod. It makes her hidden and on every mission no matter where she is assigned at the moment generally causing a crash at times.

So, anyone know how to increase the number of default loadout cards on the loadout screen? Do not care if it shows the soldiers all present, just their loadout crds.

So how does the mod determine how many squad members to show in the loadout screen?

Also squad size is very confusing setting: I thought its a visual thing only but no as soon as you change the number you start the campaign with 6 soldiers for example. Why is this not mentioned anywhere?

Hello again, so now the mod works, i can tip the view so i can see all soldiers in the carousel but when i look in mod settings and chose this mod, i still dont have the setting to change number of soldiers. Why is that?

I read the thread above "can only see 6 units" and there i saw someone had deleted an inifile, wich i did and now it works and for some reason other stuff works better aswell, didnt even realize it was bugged before. Now i can "carousel" the soldiers.

I deleted the xcomengin inifile and now it works, i can turn the list around and see who else is on the mission. I read above the trhead "can only see 6 units" wich was my problem, its fixed now i think

The soldiers are on a carousel, left click on one and move the mouse left or right. That should spin round who's in front and editable.

Looking at the last picture i see a setting for the mod but in my setting ingame i dont have squadsize setting at bottom.

Sorry to be negative but i dont like this system, i always get loads of soldiers but i cant change any but the one in the front 6. So if i clear the squad and use my own squads of 4 and send them to a mission, there still is 2 or 3 extra sent and fuck up the time of the mission so i have to use 25 extra int to make the mission vulnerable. And it dont look like the pictures u have showing the mod

How do you get the Make Weapon Upgrades Available button to show up at the bottom of the squad select screen? I've seen this is videos and looked at various mod lists, but I can't seem to figure this out.

For @sachadeix : Covert Infiltration does appear to remove access to changing squad size thru this mod's MCM settings. Would you possibly be using CI?

Issue, Cannot see the squad size scroll bar to add more soldiers to missions, which is under disallow infinite scrolling. have tried to add more soldiers to missions via xcommissionsdefs but it doesnt work. i have done this before and it worked on network tower assault. all recomended mods installed and playing lwotc. any idea why that bar is showing

Could you make a patch (or could someone else) for the Squad Manager workshop item? It works together for the most part, but I can't "load in" a squad directly using an interface provided by that mod. It still appear in the squad selection screen but nothing happens if I click on a squad Icon.

Is there any way to restore the old unequip buttons? Or at the very least edit what items the "Unequip Barracks" buttons remove? I'd like the option to quickly remove only utility items instead of stripping away all weapons and armors from the whole squad.

Is it possible to change the size of soldier info UI? I want to make it smaller. I'm playing LWOTC and there are so many things needs to be show in there. Which is this mod's job and it's very good. But that also make the UI too high. Even covering the mission info and soldier appearance.

Invisible Team Fix:
You probably have another mod installed "More Squad Size upgrade" .
It is possible to use both mods at the same time, but in the "More Squad Size upgrade" options you need to select compatibility mode, it is the first one on the list at the top

I set squad size to 6, but it made it 8, since I have both upgrades. So I set it back to 4, and now it’s 6 again. So I guess that setting is about how many you start with. I was confused why my squad size was 8 when I don’t play with any mods that give me larger squad sizes. So, I suppose don’t increase it beyond 4 if you’re playing with vanilla squad sizes! I thought this setting would just affect the UI.

I would suggest to add an option to set the default view from "30° above angle" or "front view"
I personnally prefer to have a top-down view on my squad, and always have to click "switch view"

Or I eventually missed some setting, but nothing in the list seem to allow me that

With 8 soldiers, you can basically execute the Chosen in their chambers in turn 1. If you want them not to die so pathetically, there is one mod that increases their HP. It defaults to 20% bonus, which you can edit. I have to say that 20% did not seem like enough extra HP towards the end game, and I basically executed the Warlock on turn 1 after his first spawn, and after his first respawn.
