i can't tell if the comments below are being serious or not. But mods can definitely do a lot of things, including bluescreen your computer and forcing a restart

Mods don't have the kind of authorization to change the amount of core used by Starbound. This mod is scam.

I have exacly the requariments but it looks like it doesn't work. There is no change. Still having problems when I take my two recruits and we fight 1 bandit, the npcs are still slow af.

I'm having a problem. This mod works really well the first time, but after that, everything gets all jittery.

Always all core -1 is preferable solution, and same goes for VMware. Your system still need to use core for their own job unless your CPU got impressive single-core perfomance.

I seem to get better boosts from this over the x4 edition... And CPUz does say I am supposed to have 4 cores.
Does uhh. The fact that I'm on a laptop apu have anything to do with that?

Open task manager and go to CPU section. Check for threads, not cores.

in low-lag areas that have little to no npcs (like custom stations) the game boosts by somewhere between 5-12 fps

Works! Donesnt do it by alot but despite still having major lagspikes on my ship its at least doubled the speed somewhat

This mod is great, it does improve fps but I have 4 cores & 4 proccessors maybe you can make a version like that?

I'll upload this and the 6-thread version to the forums soon. The forums just have a slightly more arduous upload process than steam does, which is why I haven't uploaded either of these versions there yet.
