This mod is clearly abandoned and depreciated (last update was August of last year [2017]). Wait for an update or look elsewhere.

Could you explain how the valuation is determined and what causes it to go up and down?

@BigFoot, I've seen them, but I don't think there's much I can do. We modders don't have anything to do with how the mods are installed, that's up to the game developer. If you are having problems with mods not showing up in the menu you'll have to ask him, the best way is probably on the Steam forums for the game.

Dunno if its an intended bug... but if u take an investment and start a new game the investors dont reset i.e any investor that is invested is "locked"

I absolutely LOVE the choice of investors to partner with. Combination of real funds + everyone's favorite fake ones? Brilliant. Hats off to you sir.

My suggestion if you ever need a new fake fund to stick in: Savannah Capital. Not strictly a VC, of course, but I'm sure Sloan wouldn't mind.

Cool mod, but I've noticed the company valuations are tied to the size of the building that you're in and not the amount of revenue you'e generated, the potential of your platforms, etc. Not sure if there's a way to change that.

Much needed module to allow for a company to get a start, under the standard loan system it had set the company up to never be in the black, with this one it eases the difficulty enough to get established.

after subscribing, steam loads 0 of 0 bytes... but in the workshop folder there is a new mod with this folder name. Its 33,3 kb large. But ingame under the mod list, the mod isnt listed. idkif this is a problem from Steam or the upload?

After unsubscribing and the subscribe again its working. So i guess its a little bug, you can fix. Good job dude

Really a nice mod :) But i have a little problem, when i close the game, and later on return, to start a new game up, i have no money, but 2 investors. I can only sell my stock, to get very few dollars back? maybe something you need to take a look at. But when its working, its so nice.

@anikon, Which half is working and which is not? You said previously that competitors show up but that's normal since it's a feature of the vanilla game, not this mod. There was a problem before with installing mods however, that might have caused your issues. A fix has been pushed to the games testing branch, you know how to switch to that?

@anikon, Are you sure you're using a new game? This mod won't work on existing savegames.

@Elvolganta, Valuation is the investors on valuation of your company. It might differ slightly from your own and other investor's valuations depening on a number of factors.
Investment is basically just the percentage the investor is willing to invest, or how much they value their own investment if they are already invested, i.e. the "Share" times their valuation of your company.

@Elvolganta, I would assume that the valuation sets the price of your stock and will help with future investment rounds, the investment is the actual money you'll have to build the company with.

What is the functional effect and difference of "Valuation" and "Investmen"? :)
