They're gonna be separate and that will work for the Gmod artists, they're more than capable of scene building, I've seen what they can do since I know some

What's the point ? This is a huge model. How are you going to put them together? Put the whole model on the skeleton? For SFM, on the contrary, it is better that all parts are separate.

How about I just port it as a proper addon and people don't have to manually do it themselves to use it?

Unpack and use in gmod. Only they will not have a collision.
