# Implemented anti frustration measures for exploration failing:

- starting on the age of discovery there is a permanent -25% exploration monthly fail chance
- explorations will not fail if they are below 20% exploration progress or over 80% exploration progress
- the monthly check for exploration failing only have a 50% chance of firing

exploration failure is now dynamic, using the new exploration_fail_chance_modifier.
exploration missions have a base 10% monthly fail chance.
missions on areas that have locations with cape or deep ocean topography will have an increased monthly fail chance, until the new Allow Cape Exploration and Allow Deep Ocean Exploration modifiers are enabled from researching certain advances.
characters in exploration missions reduce exploration fail chance based on their adm, scaling from 0% to -75% fail chance.
explorers reduce exploration fail chance by -25%, and some of their traits reduce it as well.
the exploration_fail_chance_modifier applies the reduction percentage to the base 10% monthly fail chance.
it is now possible to send exploration from colonial nation subject locations with a dock building and its upgrades.
fixed some localization issues, especially the new Convert Galleys to Fire Ships action.
