Turns out most of my meticulous balancing wasn't actually being applied. Fixed that...
Existing recruited creatures will not be affected - only new tames will receive stat reductions.

Fixed creatures that were obtained from repeatable content (groves, Ahlvarza, Wandering Woods, etc.) being overridden when the area is regenerated. Creatures that were previously recruited will still be vulnerable to this bug. Newly-recruited creatures after this patch will be safe.

If you have such a creature and wish to save it, you can do so by dropping the creature off at a port, using the cafe Dismiss Crew feature. Then you can open the creature's Actor info with middle mouse click and change its ID to whatever you want - I just add _wTamer to the end of each of them, and that's good enough. Then you can re-recruit the creature for 10gp.

I don't recommend changing their ID while in your active party as it will cause them to become disconnected from your landing party roster and cause weird side effects. You've been warned!

- Another balance pass on creature stats. Aim is to make them balanced against humanoids, and balanced with regard to class/gear usage and reduced XP gain, while still being diverse and encouraging using them wisely.
- Increased recruited creature XP gain to 65% (was 50%).
- Added description and icon for Reverzibel Pounce.
- Now preserves original colors of recruited creatures. Special thanks to quo for the Lua script to make this possible.
- Reduced strength of Gojer's Shattering Attack, added new FX, and fixed the double-attack bug.
- Added Grow Plants Beastmaster bonus to grassy Sogbogger.
- Added Stampede Beastmaster bonus to Gojer.

- Reduced Sailor XP needed to unlock Sailor class for creatures from 500 to 200.
- Halved all recruited creature XP gain.
- Reduced intimidation factor of all creatures, in particular Haints, Ire Candles, and Splitworms.
- Reduced many recruited creature base stats.
- Recruited Snaevar and Splitworm splits are much less oppressive and (usually) don't infinitely split off of other splits.
- Recruited Web Spiders can now shoot webs at regular, non-recruited Spiders to turn them into Web Spiders (previously would only work on recruited Spiders).
