Public Version v1.0.2

Changelog:

Additions:

Category: Beute (German use of captured vehicles)

This content update adds three historically-inspired skins with winter camouflage for the KV-1 M1940, based on German repaint practices after vehicles were captured. Each texture is available via Change Paint Scheme (as #variants) or through manual Editor assignment.

✅ Included Paint Variants (texture suffixes):

1. #beute_winter_1 - KV-1 M1940 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. KW-1A 753(r)]
2. #beute_winter_2 - KV-1 M1940 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. KW-1A 753(r)]
3. #beute_winter_3 - KV-1 M1940 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. KW-1A 753(r)]

These variants are available via "texmods" and will appear in dropdowns in the Editor.
If correctly integrated into the Change Paint Scheme mod (as described step-by-step in info.txt in the mod folder), they will also become selectable during missions.

Compatibility:

- Fully compatible with Change Paint Scheme mod (manual integration required – see info.txt in the mod folder for setup instructions)

- Fully usable in Editor with texmods

Known Limitations in Conquest:

- Conquest does not persist texmods (Season) selections pre-mission at spawn

- Only pre-placed vehicles with texmods set and launched directly will retain custom skins

Additions:

Category: Beute (German use of captured vehicles)

This content update adds three historically-inspired skins for the KV-1 M1940, inspired by the way Germans repainted vehicles after capture. Each texture is available via Change Paint Scheme (as #variants) or through manual Editor assignment.

3. #beute_4 - KV-1 M1940 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. KW-1A 753(r)]

These variants are available via "texmods" and will appear in dropdowns in the Editor.
If correctly integrated into the Change Paint Scheme mod (as described step-by-step in info.txt in the mod folder), they will also become selectable during missions.

Public Version v1.0

Changelog:

Additions:

Category: Beute (German use of captured vehicles)

The initial release of the mod adds three historically-inspired skins for the T-34 M1941, reflecting German repaint practices after capture. Each texture is available via Change Paint Scheme (as #variants) or through manual Editor assignment.

✅ Included Paint Variants (texture suffixes):

1. #beute_1 - T-34 M1941 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. T-34/76B 747(r)]
2. #beute_2 - T-34 M1941 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. T-34/76B 747(r)]
3. #beute_3 - T-34 M1941 [Pz.Kpf.Wg. T-34/76B 747(r)]

These variants are available via "texmods" and will appear in dropdowns in the Editor.
If correctly integrated into the Change Paint Scheme mod (as described step-by-step in info.txt in the mod folder), they will also become selectable during missions.

Miscellaneous:

1. Added optional digit_folder = no_numbers to suppress tactical numbers in Editor
2. Added info.txt with detailed integration guide for Change Paint Scheme mod
3. Added Technical_Limitations.txt explaining current constraints in Conquest mode

⚠ Technical Note – Tactical Numbers:

The base T-34 M1941 has enumerator = ru1 defined in its .def file, which automatically overlays Soviet-style tactical numbers. These override or clutter the custom paintwork in-game.

To disable the number overlay (works only in Editor):

- Open the unit in the Editor

- In the enumerator section, set:
digit_folder = no_numbers

This hides the digits without affecting other units and is the recommended approach when using custom skins designed to be clean or already marked.

Compatibility:

- Fully compatible with Change Paint Scheme mod (manual integration required – see info.txt in the mod folder for setup instructions)

- Fully usable in Editor with texmods, enumerator and digit_folder control

Known Limitations in Conquest:

- Conquest does not persist texmods (Season) selections pre-mission at spawn

- Digit folders cannot be toggled dynamically during gameplay

- Only pre-placed vehicles with texmods set and launched directly will retain custom skins
