Popularity: Taunt generates popularity faster. Taunting before having touched the ground results in massively reduced popularity gain (respawn platform). The bonus popularity for combos has been increased. On Death you only lose a chunk of popularity instead of being set to 0. At the start of the match you spawn in with a chunk of popularity so you don't have to begin by taunting.

Forward Special: Quiz vortex is more resistant to breaking

Down Special: Shadowman take less popularity

Neutral Special: Reworked, now deals hitstun while costing more popularity and coming out smaller and slower. Can still freeze.

Dash attack: Each subsequent usage reduced the amount it travels

Fair: Now doesn't freeze you in midair, unless you press the attack button again. Which is stronger and creates the projectile. The projectile now goes through platforms and enemies, falls faster, and travels further.

Back Air: Fixed knockback values, sweetspot is stronger

Up Air: Additional weak hitbox that covers more of the body

Forward Tilt: Faster, weaker

Forward Strong: Stronger

Down Strong: Stronger

Up Strong: Stronger

Up Tilt: Sourspot sends more vertically

Jab: Hitbox comes out one frame later to align with animation better

The actual buff update; most attacks have received reworked hitboxes with new sweat spots which means overall the character does much more damage and knockback. I won't specify in each attack but just keep in mind this applies to every attack listed.

Taunt: Soft Armor Increased, you can parry while in the taunt now. Taunting at the start of the match will also re-enable talking.

Jab: Sweat Spot hitbox added

Dash Attack: Less endlag, has a sweet spot at the start of the attack, and no longer has scaling knockback. Landing the attack twice in quick succession will send opponents behind you not allowing for a followup, but previous behavior is still possible by just waiting a tiny bit between dashes.

F Tilt: Sweet spot hitbox added, move can be acted out of sooner

U Tilt: Sweat spot hitbox added on the head, the rest of the hitbox now sends away

N Air: Now deals constant knockback, with a sweet spot at the start of the attack

F Air: Less endlag

D Air: Move now deals constant knockback, with a sweetspot at the start of the attack. Landing the attack now allows a brief opportunity to jump out of the attack.

U Air: Sweet spot hitbox added

F Strong: Sweet spot hitbox added, alongside new hitbox that can hit an opponent on a platform. Has more range.

D Strong: New audio, and fills popularity during the attack, fills less pop on hit however

U Strong:Sweat spot hitbox added on the head, the rest of the hitbox now sends away, and now fills popularity during the attack, fills less pop on hit however

v1.3 The Popularity Update

This update is primarily focused on a re-balancing of popularity;

Now you gain more popularity the more attacks you land in a row without being hit
In exchange you lose more popularity when hit back, but this diminished the more you get hit before landing an attack yourself until you stop losing popularity all together.

These changes mean you get way more popularity than normal just from normal gameplay, and your ability to lose all of it from a single string of attacks is now gone completely, but you'll lose a lot more from normal gameplay as a result. My hope is that this encourages a more active usage of popularity specials.

To make up for these changes, Tenna now gains a small speed buff when close to maximum popularity. There's no visual indicator for when it starts, but it should be pretty obvious.

F Special:

Quiz Vortex now travels a greater horizontal distance when it spawns in, so it no longer hits opponents right in front of you. To make up for this, Tenna now has a hitbox during forward special, which if it hits can push opponents into the quiz vortex. This effectively means the move has greater range, but you can be directly parried now in exchange. Also fixed Quiz Vortex walking through walls.

Taunt: TImeout between taunt usage decreased dramatically

Tenna was made lighter again

Costumes have been reworked to not break as often and just look nicer in general

F Special: Quiz Vortex spawns from higher up, but now ignores projectiles

U Special: Total duration of the move was increased, and there is now an initial boost of upwards speed. In general move now lasts about 1.5 times the length by default.

Tenna locked in so he doesn't talk anymore :(
