Mr (Ant) Tenna

Tenna from Deltarune Chapter 3. Fill up his popularity meter by landing attacks, or putting on a swell show and use it to summon shadow guys or other useful abilities.

Important things to keep in mind;

Popularity Meter: Tenna's neutral, forward, and down specials all require popularity in order to use, you get popularity in a multitude of ways

1: Dealing damage to opponents - every attack fills up pop by different amounts
2: Using taunt - This is a quick way to restore popularity and can be held infinitely but it does put you in harm's way
3: Parrying - Parrying ANYthing will get you back up to max popularity, which can act as a deterrent to range characters
since Tenna otherwise can't do much against them

Taking damage always makes you lose pop, getting stuck in a multi-hit can quickly deplenish you back down to 0. Likewise getting parried reduces your popularity by a lot, and of course dying sets you back down to 0.

Speaking of specials, they each have quirks

N Special: Tenna sprays the opponent, requires popularity to use and primarily acts as a weak windbox, but can freeze the opponent if you spray them enough (around half a second)

F Special: Tenna summons a quiz vortex that drops onto the stage infront of him. Any opponent hit by the quiz vortex will be stunned for about a 2 second duration. Has a cooldown.

D Special: Tenna summons a shadow guy, charging the move takes slightly more popularity but the shadow guy will move faster and deal more damage and knockback. These guys only move in a straight line, and die to anything so they're more about stage control than anything. Taunting while a shadow guy is on stage will cause them to move twice as fast, and pressing attack during this will instead cause the shadow guy to explode but you get refunded some pop. A shadow guy that falls off the stage will also refund some popularity.
