A quick hotfix for a couple of problems identified by players released! Here is a list of what all has changed:


- fixed a problem on floor 30 where the first sub-arena activated two squad spawners at once. At list of what all has been changed will be provided later.

- Added an exit sign to floor 28 to help players progress to the next floor

- The cyclops sabor no longer protrudes through the slope in staircase [redacted]

- a couple of other fixes I can't remember doing

A content update released! Here is a list of what all is new,,,


- New secret weapon: The Cyclops Sabor. A nexus blade with some... Interesting modifications. This new weapon can be found between floor 1-5.

- New armor: The Bullet Block Helmet. This helmet emits a forcefield that protects you from incoming gunfire and explosions from every angle! However, you're still vulnerable to melee attacks. This helmet can be found in the ministore in staircase 21, where it can be equipped in the storage station!

- Added some armor to every ministore in the Tower! It isn't much, only consisting of already existing armor from this mod, but more is planned to be added in!

- A new boss has been added into floor 28: Proxy noob. A powerful proxy variant welding an electric shotgun, an odachi, and a bullet block forcefield! Good luck!

- Fixed an issue with the modded version of floor 25 where the squad spawner would start early and stop around 40 enemies left, making it nearly impossible to defeat the boss on that floor.

- Fixed a texturing issue on the weapon crates.

- The tips PCs in floors 26 to 30 now have something to say.

- Secrets have been shuffled!


Apologies about the lack on content this week. This week, along with the next couple of weeks, I'm gonna be pretty busy in the IRL departments, but I promise to do my best to get as much content out as much I can in spite of that. Progress on new floors are also coming along fairly smoothly, albeit fairly slow due to the previous issues stated above. Regardless, hope this update'll get yall by until the next one. an additional bug fixing update released! This adds in a couple of patches that I forgot to add in, which are:

- The warning notes in squad spawner rooms can now be opened repeatedly.

- Fixed the number of enemies spawning in section 2's slaughter mode.

- replaced the blender cube with... something interesting in floor 29.

A bug fixing update released! Here is a list of what all have been changed and fixed.

- The squadmate spawner room has been reverted back to its original state. A good majority of my week has been spent trying to fix the glitch that's been plaguing it rn. For those who don't know, if you spawn in a dude in the squadmate spawner room, and then go through a loading screen, you not only spawn in as a grunt, but many functions in the level end up breaking. To name off a couple of examples, the alt mode doors don't swap out the enemies like they should and if you were to fall off the arena in floor 19, you instantly die instead of being teleported into into FLOOR 19's sub-section. I was fortunate enough to get with swain on finding a solution to this problem, but as of right now there isn't a simple solution to patching this glitch. With that being said, every squadmate spawner room now comes with a warning that the feature is unstable and will likely break the level. I apologize to everyone who came across this glitch and ruined your experience.

- Fixed FLOOR 9 modded's enemies not showing up

- Fixed a problem in floor 7 where mags can get stuck behind the doors.

- Fixed a collision issue in staircase 16 which stopped you from accessing the weapon crates.

- The ALT modes should now work in section 2.

- filled in any and all moddable enemies I missed.

Unfortunately, not much content to be added here this week due to the aforementioned problems with the squadmate spawner rooms. Through I plan on making up for it with some videos tonight or tomorrow, along with some new weapons and armor to use in the tower. Have a good week yall!

An emergency temp fix released! This update fixes a game breaking bug that caused the player to turn into a grunt after leaving the floor 25 room, restarting the level, or quitting the level, along with causing the entire custom level to to completely break. The fix is not the most ideal, but it is only temporary until I can find a better solution to the problem. I apologize to anyone who had came across this bug and had their experience ruined as a result.

A new content update released! here's a list of what all has been added and changed:

- The number of enemies in each floor has been reduced to 50, speeding up progression between each floor!

- the building with the two doors labeled "random" and "extreme" has now been transformed into "ALT mode hub" which now houses extreme mode and the randomized door, along with a couple of other modes. An arrow has also been added on the building to help guide players towards the tower itself.

- a new alt mode has been added: slaughter mode! This mode increases the number of enemies you have to fight per room, along with an increase of enemies coming out of the doors. Happy killing!

- "TOM modded" has been merged in with "Tower of MADNESS MD release" which can now be accessed through "ALT mode hub".

- weapon crates have been added in every staircase! Weapon crates drop random weapons upon breaking, which are completely randomized in every run through the tower!

- FLOOR 5: arena has been scaled down, brightened up, and had its camera moved closer for better visibility. You're also no longer required to kill the mag agent to progress. I also plan to do a complete visual overhaul on this floor in the near future.

- FLOOR 22: Moved the camera closer for better visibility. This floor is also planned to be scaled down in the future.

- FLOOR 27: Arena has been scaled down, along with moving the camera close for better visibility. Also fixed any and all strange AI behavior trying to navigate the map.

- FLOOR 28: fixed an issue that causes your cross hair to move to the bottom floor, causing you to shoot the floor instead of the enemy you're aiming at.

- FLOOR 30: fixed an issue that caused some sub-arenas to not spawn in their enemies, thus soft locking the game. The number of MERC captains have also been reduced in the beginning wave of enemies.

I wanna give a massive thanks to Krinkels and Dark Signal for showing off my custom level and giving their feedback on it, along with zepumpkineater for adding my custom level to the roster of mods to be shown off! If you have any issues regarding my custom level, don't be afraid to sound off! Your feedback is essential to molding this custom level to being the best it can be!

A quick update that brings back the modded version of TOM, with the enemies in the new floors now moddable!

Another massive content update released for MADNESS day, albeit late. Here's a list of what all has been changed:

- 8 new floors have been added to TOM; 7 mainline floors and 1 optional floor featuring a new sub-boss. Overall, the grand total of floors have been raised to 30!

- New stations added to every staircase in the tower:
- Tips PC: Provides tips on helping you getting as far up the tower as possible.
- Mini-store: for every 5 floors you clear, a mini store will appear where you can purchase weapons and store in storage.
- storage: store your weapons and weapons you bought from the mini-store in here. Unfortunately as of right now, you cannot store junk weapons in storage

- Graffiti added to staircases 7-13.

- Much like floors 4 and 11, you can now jump across the platform gap in floor 9

- a couple of other changes and fixes I can't think of off the top of my head.

This update ended up getting rushed out and, as a result, extreme mode and the modded version of TOM have not been updated take advantage of the new floors. The next batch of updates will consist of getting these holes filled in, along with any and all bugs and issues I come across and/or get reported.

a small, bug fixing update released! Here's a list of what all has been changed and fixed:



- Fixed the randomized door not working in the modded version of TOM

- Fixed a lighting issue on the sun in staircase 23 where NPC's shadows would cast onto it

- The darkness in floor 7 has been improved to make glowing objects much, much more visible! This helps to spot enemies in the dark, along with navigating around the room itself.

- messed with the collisions in floor 4 to make it possible to jump from bridge to bridge (and buckets).

- secrets have been shuffled.



As of right now, 99.9% of my attention is currently focused on developing the next number of floors to be added in for the MADNESS day release. With that being said, updates and content overall will not be a frequent and large in size up until MADNESS day madness day comes around. If anyone comes across any issues while playing TOM, be sure to comment on it and I'll get it patched and fixed. Have a good labor day yall!
