Class Feats:
- (Runic Tattoo): Redesigned. Adds a selection option at your highest level, making it easier to retrain to utilize newly-learned runes. This can fail to apply at all in Free Encounter Mode if the selected rune isn't available at your party's level. Diacritics can no longer be chosen with this feat. Feat text has been adjusted accordingly for these changes. The stat block feature name and description is also shorter now.

Bug fixes:
- (Marssyl): The strike now counts as magical while the splash damage is being dealt. Backfire Mantle (DD's implementation of it) now correctly reduces the damage dealt by Marssyl's splash. May still have buggy behavior with combined damage and resistance activities.
- (Ur- diacritic): Now has the diacritic trait.
- (Esvadir): Invocation now benefits from the Ur- diacritic bonus.
- (Artisan's Hammer): Weapon now scales to Expert at levels 5 with your other weapons, rather than level 7 with your class DC.
- (Runic Reprisal): Works again. Was broken by a previous implementation of disabling and hiding runes (such as when dropping an item that bears a rune). Esvadir now also correctly invokes onto the attacker, instead of trying to find an adjacent target, and cuts the 2nd particle animation when you do so.
- Runes can no longer have multiple diacritics on them at once.

Visual:
- An army of invisible unicode apostrophes, back from the pits of Hell, have once again been exorcised by the mighty Find-and-Replace function, leaving behind holy ASCII apostrophes in its wake. (Seriously, I thought I got rid of them all, and then I stumbled on one, did a search, and found like 8 more??? I am going to lose it if I find ONE MORE of these accursed text characters!)

- Engraving Strike now benefits from Rune-Singer's lifted free hand restriction.

更新于:5 月 15 日 上午 2:42

Runesmith Feats:
- (Rune-Singer): Reworked. Now a toggle in the Trace Rune menu. While active, your next Trace Rune of any kind will be modified according to the feature's description, allowing you to use Rune-Singer with abilities like Engraving Strike or Fortifying Knock to avoid manipulate reactions or while your hands are full.

Audio:
- (Atryl): Now plays a fiery sound after the invocation animation completes and damage is taken.
- (Marssyl): Now plays the Shove sound just as the invocation's push occurs.
- (Oljinex): Now plays the fear sound as the debuff is applied.
- (Ranshu): Now plays an electric sound after the passive effect deals damage, and a different electric sound after the invocation animation completes and damage is taken.
- (Sun-): Now plays a subtle sound effect when it retraces a rune.
- (Rune-Singer): Tracing a Rune with Rune-Singer active now plays the Choir sound instead.

Visual:
- (Fortifying Knock): The rune Usage descriptions now say "drawn on your raised shield" in blue.
- (Rune-Singer): Removed extraneous parts of the feat description because they serve no function (areas of silence don't exist to stop you from singing in a clear voice).

Bug fixes:
- (Rune-Singer): Now correctly usable once per combat, instead of incorrectly once per day (sorry!!!).
- (Fortifying Knock): The "trace a rune on your shield" part is correctly disrupted if you're hit by a critical attack of opportunity.

Visual:
- (Runic Repertoire): Now displays on the stat block, with a description similar to that of a spellcasting source, using just the base name of each rune instead of its full name, and your maximum etched runes (if any). This change now hides Etch Rune, Trace Rune, and Invoke Rune from the stat block.
- (Weapon Specialization): Stat block description now shorter and doesn't include Barbarian feature text.
- (Runic Reprisal): Stat block description is slightly more concise.
- (Runic Crafter): Stat block description is now formatted dynamically based on the size of the list of features at your current level according to English grammar.

Bug fixes:
- The etched rune limit is now calculated each time it's called. This should prevent bugs related to Free Encounter play and having more etched runes than intended for your current level. (Pretty sure this didn't end up affecting Story Mode.)

New Items:
- (Artisan's Hammer): A 1d8 melee bludgeoning hammer with the razing trait. It costs 4 gp, and has the special property of counting as having a free hand for tracing runes.

UI Feature:
- (Trace Rune): You can now click on a creature directly to Trace a Rune on them, no submenus required. To disambiguate the range variant options, they also include action icons in the context menu names when using them in this way.

Visual:
- When invoking a rune leaves behind a unique effect, that icon now has a check symbol overlaid on top of the original rune's icon (e.g. Holtrik's persistent +1 to AC).
- Trace Rune now comes before Invoke Rune in the UI order. (Note to self: just always use "ProvideMainAction", instead of "ProvideActionIntoPossibilitySection" with a check for the main action section Id.)
- The action options for the runes in Trace Rune are now labeled "Touch" and "30 feet", instead of "One Action" and "Two Actions" like how spell action variants (such as Heal) usually are.
- The Trace Rune submenu description on the action bar now separates the first sentence as flavor text, and includes a 2-action icon in the description.
- All remaining invisible unicode apostrophes mercilessly shifted to the plane of razor blades (I finally figured out how to do find and replace in my IDE).

Bug:
- Creatures that were immune to Pluuna's invocation effects no longer attempt the saving throw at all. This should result in less chat-log clutter, and make the immunity less ambiguous.

更新于:5 月 8 日 上午 2:43

Bug fixes:
- Fortifying Knock no longer accidentally costs 2 actions. (Bug introduced by a workaround I introduced in an earlier patch so that Raising a Shield would occur before provoking Attacks of Opportunity)
- The invoked Oljinex effect now announces the flat check it makes even when it succeeds, instead of only when the action is fizzled.
- Rune Singer and Drawn in Red no longer pollutes the stat block with additional large action descriptions.
- Holtrik and Marssyl now CORRECTLY activate their passive effects exactly once when more than one is present, instead of canceling out completely.

Visual updates:
- Top bar text when invoking runes now refers to the number at the end as "(Runes: [number])" instead of just "([number])".

更新于:5 月 5 日 下午 2:33

New content:
- Multiclass archetype (Runesmith): Homebrewed multiclass archetype added using new built-in Dedication support.

Bug fixes:
- Runes now consistently use your class DC instead of spell DC.
- Multiple instances of Marssyl no longer apply additional splash damage.

This patch consists mostly of improvements to text throughout the mod.

The general changes are as follows:
- Class feature descriptions contain more cleaned up wording throughout. As well as increased compliance with the game's style guidelines (the option "Runesmith Skill" is now "Runesmith skill", for example).
- The new inline tooltip modding API is now used throughout the mod to consolidate text in the Runesmith's class description as well as many different feats, making it easier to consistently understand how Runesmith uniquely works.
- Various minor typos like invisible unicode apostrophes and extra spaces were fixed.
- Stat Block Footnotes: Every feat with an existing rule reminder or implementation footnote has received updated wording and new formatting which features icons in the stat block (Backup Runic Enhancement, Smithing Weapons Familiarity, Artist's Attendance, Ghostly Resonance, Runic Tattoo, Transpose Etching, Vital Composite Invocation, etc).
- Action symbols have been added to the names of actions mentioned in various feat description text (Rune-Singer, Runic Reprisal, Drawn In Red, etc).

Specific textual changes are as follows:
- Invoke Rune tooltips: Selecting which rune to invoke on a creature in combat now includes the name of the effect in the target option, as well as its draw duration trait (traced/etched/tattooed), to help distinguish which effect on the creature is about to be invoked.
- Rune trait: Description has been slightly updated, with some of the text pulled into the class description, and with added text mentioning how runes are affected like spells are.
- Backup Runic Enhancement: Spell text now links to the spells they grant.
- Engraving Strike: An implementation note has been added to Engraving Strike's feat text.
- Runic Tattoo: The effect for Runic Tattoo applied at the start of combat has changed. The extra line at the bottom is now labeled "Tattooed" instead of "Etched", and its shared duration functionality to etched runes are now incorporated in that description, to make it easier to distinguish at a glance.
- Tracing Trance: The clarification that you can supply this quickened action to the 2-action version of Trace Rune (which is part of the original feat's description) was removed during development when that part wasn't functional, but never added back. This has no mechanical change, as this functionality already worked on release.
- Elemental Revision: The names of the property runes have been italicized. For mechanical clarity, these are now referred to as "property runes" by the feat's description. The Dawnsbury Days implementation of the 1-day immunity has been clarified -- the creature is immune to this effect, not the property rune itself.
- Read the Bones: The word "permanent" has been added to the description.

Other changes:
- Runic Tattoo now always applies (potentially prompting the specific target) before Etching Runes begins.

更新于:4 月 24 日 上午 2:44

- Bug fix: Fortifying Knock no longer incorrectly provokes reactions to manipulate actions before the shield is raised. Now it correctly provokes just before the rune is traced.

更新于:4 月 23 日 下午 11:41

- Bug fix: "Oljinex, Rune of Cowards' Bane" no longer shows as a level 1 class feat option.
