Version 2.5

☥ Corrected a problem (in the mod) that prevented the chariot speeds from being correctly restricted in forests, water, and mud. Now chariots will no longer be free-wheeling all over the battle map, and instead will have a real weakness: restricted terrain. Chariots are more or less the best unit in battle for harassing and assaulting units, but they must also have this weakness. Now when chariots get in forests, water, or mud, their speed will drastically suffer, and their attack and defense will be reduced.

Version 2.4

☥ Added some additional useful perks for the highest level of Influence in a province, to go along with the added happiness perks for having the highest happiness level in a province. The idea being - now with more negative forces, you should be rewarded for good governance when maintaining the highest influence/happiness levels.
☥ Additional fine tuning tweaks to various effects, including general titles.

Version 2.3

☥ Building on the changes to the happiness levels (with Influence reductions at lower levels), now added a +5% increase in production for the highest (100) Happiness level, to provide a nice benefit for actually getting (and maintaining) your happiness at the highest level.
☥ Fine adjusted the morale loss for when generals are recently killed, to still keep it important, but perhaps not allow you to route the entire enemy army each and every time (the more motivated good order units should remain and fight most of the time).

Version 2.2^

☥ Adjusted projectile Spread to be 50% of what it was, to help tone down on the shot gun effect of volley firing, and to make missile units more effective. Keep in mind that missile units of the period were not very capable to deal with the armor of the period, and missile troops should be considered harassers and skirmishers - units that chase off routed forces, and primarily soften up the armor of front line forces for the melee.
☥ Added an Influence negative effect to the lower levels of happiness in regions, which is needed because there isn't enough negative forces on the influence - essentially once you "get it up" then it never really decreases, making the Influence buildings, perks and effects not that important. Now if happiness decreases then you might find your influence slipping, which is more realistic as well.
☥ Adjusted the morale effect from generals that route or are killed. Now it can play a role on the battle, but is also not as extreme as I had previously had it (where most of the time a dead general meant the route of the entire army, this will no longer happen for the highest quality forces (although some units will break).
☥ Made a change to where units will no longer be able to rally (will shatter) if the general is killed or routed.
☥ Corrected an accuracy problem with some of the lower tier standard bows.

Version 2.1

☥ Adjusted (in Lua script) the XP gain rate so that it is roughly 2/3rds the rate of before. This is done to keep up with the longer campaign, so that you don't max out your faction leader pretty quickly with all the +500 XP batles.
☥ Various additional fine tune adjustments to building and ancillary effects.

Version 2.0

☥ Greatly improved javelins to make them more realistic. Reduced range by about 25%. Additionally, reduced javelin damage and AP, putting them more in line with the javelins in Troy in that regard, and making them less like harpoons. Where they are better than Troy's javelins (because of the later time period) is range.
☥ Adjusted the chariot speeds to put them in line with the coming Patch 1.0.1.
☥ Adjusted and further improved the armor quality to put it in line with the coming Patch 1.0.1.
☥ Doubled the damage of the useless "stick" precursor, with the idea that it is not accurate, and is a large heavy stick causing non-trivial amounts of blunt damage if it can hit the target (AP damage is still minimal).

Version 1.9

☥ Created a negative effect bundle for when a faction confederates with another one. This was taken from and improved on in Troy Revised Mod - it restricts another confederation for a certain amount of time, causes diplomatic penalties with minor factions, a small decrease in happiness, and a significant decrease in influence within provinces. This is especially important to act as a push back on influence, which quickly maxes out and has very little negative forces.
☥ Improved several building and ancillary effects.

Version 1.8

☥ Improved the missile weapon behavior - made fine tuning adjustments to spread and accuracy.
☥ Increased the bounding box size of humans by 1.5x. This helps prevent soldiers from bunching up so much in melee, spreading the unit out more over a larger distance.
☥ Various other small adjustments to effects.
