(Update v1.1.4.0)
General:
  • AI artillery ability usage has been reworked. Al will only deploy heavy artillery in defensive role. This does not effect World at War (Akula): AN/VP [HC] game modes.

  • AI unit deployment has been tweaked. AI will avoid rushing immediately at the beginning of the match. This applies to all game modes.

  • AI battle stage II game play has been improved as well.

General:
  • AI artillery ability usage has been tweaked. AI can now use more on-map artillery units but will spam mass artillery less frequently.

  • AI will take longer preparation time before initiating attack in the start of the match. Player can use this time to set defensive lines better.

  • OKW sWS truck not dispatching issue even after the destruction of forward bases has been fixed.

  • Resource upkeep cost system has been tweaked as well: 50 population - manpower rate decreases by 25%, 100 population - manpower rate decreases by 50%, 150 population - manpower rate decreases by 75%.

General:
  • The Battle stage reinforcements have been reworked for improved balance.

  • AI has been further tweaked for better gameplay.

  • AI abandon weapon recrewing spam has been fixed.

  • Abandoned weapons will be automatically destroyed after 4 mins if not captured. This does not apply on abandoned tanks.

  • Accuracy of tank destroyers and anti-tank guns has been improved.

General:
  • After additional testing we have decided to increase the Pop Cap limit back to 150, and with the supply yard Pop Cap upgrade it can be further increased to 200.

  • Resource upkeep cost system has been updated as well: 100 population - manpower rate decreases by 20%, 125 population - manpower rate decreases by 35%, 150 population - manpower rate decreases by 50%.

General:
  • A major step in Mod optimization has been achieved, resulting in better average frame rates overall.

  • Memory error: create dump file error 183 has been fixed. This should also fix sync error issues as well.

  • The Tuning Pack no longer needs the Game Modes to work properly. It will implement "World at War (Akula): AN/VP BS1" game optimizations other than the camera view adjustments by default. But it is encouraged nevertheless to use our Game Modes for more immersive experience.

  • AI has been further enhanced, it will use units more cautiously like human players.

  • AI vehicle gameplay has been improved. AI will now prefer ranged combat instead of rushing tanks blindly.

  • AI can now be surprised with camouflaged units, as it cannot see them through fog of war.

  • Game Pop Cap is now 100, and Pop Cap upgrade from supply yards now grant 50 additional population. The Pop Cap adjustment has been done to avoid crashes due to memory errors.

  • Resource upkeep cost system have been completely reworked. It only affects manpower and is indirectly linked with player unit population: 50 population - manpower rate decreases by 20%, 75 population - manpower rate decreases by 35%, 100 population - manpower rate decreases by 50%.

  • Tech trees of USF, Soviet and OKW are now linear similar to the other factions.

  • AI will now give more preference to building of emplacements and defensive structures.

  • British Forward assemblies no longer block off-map artillery abilities.

  • Forward assemblies and OKW forward bases can now be placed in victory points but they can not lock it down like other territory points.

  • Forward assembly limit has been increased from 1 to 2.

  • OKW sWS truck rare deployment after all forward bases have been constructed has been removed.

  • Heavy engineer upgrade will not affect royal engineers combat movement.

  • AI resource acquisition and usage has been improved. AI can do come backs more effectively.

  • M5 anti-air halftrack's effectiveness against infantry has been improved.

  • AI can now deploy M4(76) Sherman medium tanks for USF.

  • AI will no longer decrew vehicles in mid battle.

  • AI will prefer setting up OKW's forward bases near HQ for more safety.

  • Issue regarding player resource income rates not stopping on the destruction of the HQ has been resolved.

  • Friendly AI no longer requires human players on enemy team to function properly. In case of a player drop, AI now effectively takeover.

General:
  • AI gameplay has been further tweaked for more intensive combat. AI will react more frequently and effectively to player tactics.

  • AI on-map artillery units will now fire effectively, but require our Game Modes to work properly.
