Mech Repair gun

描述
This mod hasn't been updated for 3 years, if you'd like to incorporate this mod into a larger mod with continued development get into contact with me.

Repair gun, gives energy back to your vanilla mech at the cost of your own

Change notes:
1.1: reworked textures
changed crafting, now uses 1000 pixels
added animation for projectile
1.2: Added 2nd tier weapon
tweaked config files and renamed orignal torch
added crafting station, you now have to make that in order to get your tools
Plans:
- I plan to add higher tier versions of this that cost less energy and repair the mech for more

should there be any bugs with the mod please contact me on steam :)

the mod is quite literally just an easily accessible command.

i just decided to make it a mod so that it was a craftable instead of having to spawn in a string of text.

I was in College(uk) at the time i made it so i thought it'd be a fun challenge, i'm glad there's apparently people who still use it

yes Twisted , we dont need mod at all for get that gun , an admin command can put together some assets and effects for create it.

since development on this has apparently been discontinued, I looked into alternatives and, thanks to some people on the Starbound discord, found this fancy little vanilla "admin item" you can make with commands: https://gist.github.com/macks2008/93718ab772eff9de1c96c24df6143a3b

Is it a new meme like "Does it work with frackin universe?". A gun with exactly the same functionality is already in Frakin Universe!

I haven't touched this mod in a few years now, i'd like to say it does but i don't know if it overlaps with any item ID's so your best shot is to just try it

I would consider this overpowered for the reason Sir Yeetus XIV mentioned, but even so, it only really matters if you are for some reason unable to beam up & redeploy without losing progress, as that resets your mech's energy anyway
