If you're trying to play as one you need a race extender mod that modifies the creation screen to include other races such as for example the "Character Creation Extender 100" mod by Xordaii. If you don't use that many race mods consider using one that doesn't add so many slots for visual reasons.
If you got to that point and want to make the items though, you'll need to make a loom/spinning wheel I think. It's been ages since I used this mod last, but the animatronic items were on the loom (I think.) when I last played with it. I don't recall if you needed to be on a animatronic character to make them however. As the description above has stated only one item isn't craftable and requires /admin to be on.
