When 1.3 dropped we were scrambling to fix the races mod to allow them to work again. Since a bunch of users were complaining in the #mod_dev (#modding at the time) channel on the community discord; I took in some suggestions and developed a quick fix for the requested races. This mod was developped in about 30 minutes as most of the work was just renaming and checking to make sure it got the IDs right. Most of it has never been tested as it was literally just a "quick fix" intended to reduce the amount of complaints in that channel so we could focus on fixing mods for 1.3.
This fix is dirty because it behaves as though it's the original mods, directly overriding any assets created by the original mod authors if they ever wanted to create their own assets and update the mods themselves. It's just bad development practice but since the mods that it affects were out of service it's not much of an issue. It's just usually bad practice to directly override an other mod's assets.
