Less Sky (RAM's cut)

描述
No Debris! Constilations! Less Twinkle! Fewer Stars! Cleaner, more empty Teleport Cinematics!

The effects are best seen while zoomed out. Playing with a mod that adds additional zoom levels is recommended.

This set of edits for the sky files are what I personally play with. The constellations are based off of the ruin letters found in the game. There is a modular version of this mod that can be found at the Chucklefish Forums: http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/less-sky.3447/

@GreenRAM, It does give me a huge boost in FPS. Although I miss the sky though.

@*Yuki* That's a hard one. It was made to be purely cosmetic on my part. I just feel that this kind of sky looks a bit more natural while in space. It makes me feel alone in a vast, empty universe. The new images for the constilations are not compressed, so it should be similar to the vanilla sky in terms of image laoding time. I'm not sure if compressing those images will have an effect on laoding, but I might update with that change regardless. I don't know if having much less stars and less flickering for the stars will increase the fps at all. One review on the chucklefish forums claimed that it helps with performance problems. I can't conferm that though. You could always try it out and let us know.

does it reduce resource usage? Or pure cosmetic?
