The Advent Sniper is a deadly sharpshooter equipped with a lethal sniper rifle, that annihilates foes from afar.

Advent Snipers have extreme range, sometimes even shooting you from beyond their line of sight, making use of their Squadsight and Longwatch abilities to zone out challengers. They are also very effective at executing enemies, with their Executioner ability, which grants them Aim and Critical Chance when shooting targets below half health. However they are extremely weak in close quarters, as the possess no secondary weapons.

There are three tiers of Advent Snipers. The regular Advent Sniper, the Advanced Advent Sniper, and the Elite Advent Sniper.They spawn relatively early game, all they way through the late game.

ADVENT Snipers drop ADVENT Sniper corpses. Which are autopsied to aquire the Illuminator Gunsight schematic.

The Illuminator Gunsight is a scope weapon attachment that gives the user the Executioner Perk.

Executioner gives +10 Aim and Crit when shooting enemies with half HP.
