Nanban Speech Add-on Mod

This is a mod I originally made just for personal use, simply because as a portuguese myself it always bothered me a little to hear the portuguese missionaries speaking in japanese while the terços speak in english. Now I've decided to share this mod with the community in the case there might be other people interested in a mod like this.

If you find that this mod causes any problems let me know, my modding skills are very limited after all.

FAQ

- What does this mod do?
This mod will make the christian missionaries (on the campaign map), and the portuguese terços (recruitable unit for the Otomo) speak in actual european portuguese.

- Updates
As of v1.1 (18/03/2017) both the missionaries and the Terços should speak 100% in portuguese.

- Compatibility
As this mod replaces pretty much all of the british english lines, this will most likely make your Royal Marines in FoTS speak in portuguese, as such, I recommend not using this mod if you're going to play FoTS.

Since this mod only changes audio files, it should in theory be compatible with pretty much all mods out there.

- How did you make this mod?
Using audio files from Napoleon Total War

- Current state of the mod update (02/09/2024):
First of all, thank you all so much for your appreciation of this mod, I really enjoyed sharing it with the community and contribute a little to make Portugal's portrayal in this game a bit more authentic.
Second, due to work and life in general I no longer have the time nor the patience to update this mod, I'm really sorry to disappoint you like that, since I've noticed that over the years people have asked repeatedly for updates for this mod to help make it more compatible with other mods and such. If anyone feels like it, you can take this mod, update it and re-upload it yourself, you don't even need to give me credit or anything since all I did was reusing a bunch of audio assets from Napoleon Total War.
I'd rather see someone pick this mod and continue where I left of rather than see it fall into disuse from lack of updates.
