Convoy Mod

描述
A gameplay mod for Homeworld Remastered that adds a nice gameplay feature to make the games a tad more active: convoys. When the game starts, there will be a randomly-positionned jump beacon a few dozen km from your mothership. From this beacon will warp in a transport ship that will automatically head to your mothership to drop a few thousand RU before going back to the jump buoy and leave the system.

Did I forget to mention that if Bounties are activated, there is a pretty juicy reward for whoever kills an enemy transport ship? Raiding should be a profitable activity, and escorting your convoys relatively important too if you want to remain competitive with the other players. :-D

Update: from now on, the resource injection will be reduced very quickly if your mothership gets too close to the jump beacon and will increase slowly if it moves away from it. After a few successful trips, the jump beacon will self-destruct and a new one will be spawned in a random location.

Mod suggestion by Shepard1707. Jump beacon model and textures by the Wing Commander Saga Team (www.wcsaga.com).

I have been trying this mode, and I cant seem to get it to work, is it something wrong with the version or is it a problem with the mod

No idea, never used that fan-update and I've got no clue what modification it brings to the system.

Modifying SP missions is a pain in the ***, sorry. I'm currently way too busy with my Total Conversion already.

Thesde seems like a cool idea. Does it work in Single player missions? would be cool if some missions were a thing that happens. Also would be cool if you can capture enemy transports for even greater rewards!

Not really, and it would require a complete rework of the code to not hilariously break the sequences.

Nope on both counts. The whole idea is to escort them and they come with their code and specific parameters, so building them would be counter-productive.

Do the transport ships have defensive capabilities? Also, have you considered making them buildable units?
