Widescreen Quickfix

描述
I've created a mod that helps counter the issue experienced with widescreen displays (21:9 or wider). obviously it's not restricted only to those aspect ratios so you can use it with 16:9, but that will cause you to not only see more, but also see things you weren't supposed to see in the game (characters spawning, grass cut out from rendering etc.)

It is not an ideal solution, therefore with this fix in 21:9 you will see more horizontally than in regular game with 16:9, but at least it's more playable (vertical visibility is the real issue in the game).

Alternative fix would be to add black bars on the sides of the screen, but that's even worse solution, I believe.

Keep in mind it will prohibit you from earning steam achievements, except the play time one.

my 32:9 screen doesnt show a difference here. not sure if im doing anything wrong but its loaded in user content

I don't mean to be rude, but it really isn't explained at all. :SmokingGlock:
I just want to be able to play normally AND get achievements, it's really hard now when the enemies see you miles before you see them.

That's not supported officially, but modders figured out a way how to do that. I believe there's even a guide in workshop guides on how to merge 2 mods.
