Teleporter Network
Target Branch: Mainline

Simplifies the process of setting up a Teleporter network.
Instead of adding a marker to a Teleporter to jump to ONE position, the modded Teleporter enables you to jump to ANY other placed Teleporter in the world. They automatically connect to each other. No tedious linking, no location marker mess, no Teleporter spam to get anyhwere from any point.

Place a Sign next to a Teleporter to give it a name.

Provides a conversion recipe in the selfcraft menu to convert vanilla Teleporters into the modded counterpart. The vanilla Teleporter is still buildable. Works in multiplayer.

A future update of FCE can always break a mod. Right now it works, and it might still work in 10 years.

when it says discontinued, does that mean it will not be supported going forward, or does it mean it will not work... if it does not work get it out of here....

I've tried this mod on a dedicated server and there it crashes the one who tries to teleport. In single player or single player hosted server works fine except for some glitches now and then in building the teleport menu.

freakin, love this mod. Makes life so much easier than using elevators all over. this is a top recommend :)

the output_log.txt was not helpfull for me. I guess I wont be able to use your mod.
what else could I do? you could add me if you like to discuss more. cheers

the logfiles are in the installation directory "...\FortressCraft\64\FC_64_Data\output_log.txt"

I took the WorkshopMod dir and copied it to \Local\ProjectorGames\FortressCraft\Mods on the server. foldername is the same like the entry in modsettings.xml. Where are the logfiles?
when I research the console shows red text starting with Server Execption: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

@Tim did you copy the workshop mod to the WorkshopMod dir for the ded. server? Log file(s) might shed some light too.

The teleporter network is shown in the research station but when I click the research button my game kinda crashes. the regular windows courser comes up and i cant move anymore, but i can jump =) any ideas?
(running fc as dedi server on win7. startet the world in SP and activated the mod. copied the world back to server. modsettings.xml shows the mod entry) did I forget something?

Weird, the problem 'went away'. I guess ignore a problem long enough and it will resolve itself :steamhappy:
