Once upon a time, there was a game whose name was synonomous with perfection. It had many players, and for a time, they were happy. Then, a great wave of automatons swept through the land, devouring all it's coal and yew trees. These machines were, eventually, defeated at the hands of the bot nuke, and once again the players were happy. This continued for a while, machines coming and then dying soon after. However, on one fateful day, everything changed forever. Weapons and armor suddenly had their appearances changed, players gained the ability to breath fire and spin in circles, and the leveling system no longer made sense. Players were outraged, and demanded it be changed back. But it was not. Many left the game, and it's once filled servers began to empty. Eventually, the creators reopened the orignal game to all who still payed for the game, but it was too late. The game was dead. And so ends the story of Runescape, may it rest in peace.
