Real Mars

This mod adds a version of Mars based on altimetry data from the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter. Horizontal features are to-scale, elevations have been exaggerated by a factor of 15 to create more interesting terrain at the current maximum planet size of 120km.

It is a standalone planet and does not replace the stock version of mars.

The atmosphere has no oxygen but ice can be found at both polar caps and in subterranean deposits distributed over the surface. The latter are hinted at with slight terrain shadows to make oxygen generation in survival a bit easier. Ore deposits are not shadowed.

For gameplay reasons, surface gravity and atmosphere density are identical to vanilla mars.
This version has wind for wind turbines.
