Writable Notes

This addon lets you buy notes you can write on. (Works in Sandbox and DarkRP!)
Pressing the USE key on them brings up a windows where you can type
a maximum of 10 characters per line (there are 4 lines).

This opens up a world of possibilities for your server!


- Let people leave letters in your mailbox!
- Send letters to your dear Mr. President
- Throw (friendly) threats over the fence of your enemy bases
- Create your own newspaper
- Advertise your shop around town

· Newspaper-like derma for writing the note

· Brush Script font (default in Windows & OSX machines)

· Pencil writing sound effects

· Notes ignite and get destroyed on damage.

· Notes automatically disappear after 10 minutes



- (DarkRP) Price and max notes per player can be configured in lua/darkrp_customthings/writable_note_entity.lua

- You can set the note despawn time in init.lua (default is 10 minutes).



· Ability to sign notes for authenticity (e.g mayor signing gun licenses)

· Notebooks

· More expensive, fancier paper, with more space to write

· Despawn time ConVar (0 for disabled notes - alert if someone tries to spawn one)
