Alex, a freelance PMC employee, is searching for his brother's body on Altis who died trying to find something dangerous their father hid years ago. The civil war on Altis has led to bloody chaos with numerous bands of mercenaries and marauders terrorizing the island and struggling for power. Alex must navigate the violence to find the body of his brother.

This version is a continuation of previous, now obsolete, Pilgrimage Workshop entry and includes hotfix for "out of memory" CTD since A3 1.66.

Gotcha, curiousity is all before any attempt of doing replacement sorts via ALiVE. Never have i been rather frightened from seeing a AAF APC just in town 'waiting' for me out of the blue.

So many Churches, but not like it'll deter me. Both this and the Plague are a beast of their own magnitude to try and complete, even i come back to these both like WLA.

Lots of good missions in the past, not so much now and wish there were more similar (And i say this having lurk alot around the workshop)

I don't play Arma quite long time now, so I hesitate to point any specific mods, no idea, what changed lately, but in general Pilgrimage should work well with wide spectrum of mods, be it soundscape enhancers, additional factions/equipment mods, Low level AI mods, civilian traffic etc. etc.

One example of mod, I usually used with Pilgrimage back then is this:

Enjoying this one alot as was recommended - I do ask, is there mods you'd recommend besides ACE by chance, we both know Vanilla gets oddly repetitive time to time. Eitherway - Great scenario!

Thanks, Sapsan for asking that question and thanks, Rydygier for answering. I had the same question about Reforger, same feelings about the Pilgrimage mod (most of my 3200+ hours in A3 are in Pilgrimage and some Ravage). Fantastic mod, miss playing it, sorry to hear it won't make it past A3.

No such plans. I'm kinda "retired", moved on, focused elsewhere. Also for Reforger I would need to re-learn scripting anew - other language. I feel no urge to do that. On the top of that, I do not follow Reforger development, so I don't know, if it provides everything, that would be required for Pilgrimage-like kind of project yet. So - at this point it seems highly unlikely.

Any chance you'd consider making the mission in Reforger? This is my favorite SP scenario from A3 and it'd be cool to see in a more modern engine. Hope you're doing well and no sweat if that's not something you want to do.

Been a long while when I played this last time but if I remember correctly you can sell dead man inventory by looking at corpse and using action menu. No need for box transfer.

I tried to create a mod to loot automatically every item in a 30m radius to speed up the tedious process to request a box near every body and manually drag every item for selling it later, to no avail. I have zero knowledge on sqf programming, and it seems that chat gpt doesnt know much better, so I leave this here as a suggestion for the mod creator. It is the only mission I play in Arma3 nowadays. It's a whole game in itself. Kudos.

@Rydygier So, I can't post more than 1000 characters. SO I'm relegated to either praise or complaints or suggestions. Let's see if I can do this. Beautiful scenario! Still playing it and it works very time! Ravage even makeS some of the civilians zombies that sometimes kill other NPCs! Love it! The ability to add Ravage systems, like survival and time dilation, would be epic!

I can confirm a new start save can be reloaded in 2.18. But somehow my save didn't survive going from 2.16 to 2.18 (with the version number hexedit by that site) Guess I have to start over. :(
