Noumea New Caledonia - Real life 1:1 map of the capital of New Caledonia. A beautiful location with a fascinating shoreline that makes for a fun city building experience.

Medium city size: Compared to my other maps, I estimate this is medium buildable space.

Native trees by Mr Maison, tree recommendations:

- Araucaria (Norfolk Island Pine) - surivors of the dinosaur age continent of Gondwana, the majority of Araucaria trees are endemic to New Caledonia. This tree is high in tris, so it is only used in a few strategically chosen places (hilltops you probably won't build on) so it serves as an accent. Bulldoze these (and any trees) before building over them. This will save your file size and loading times.

- Mangrove - native to most tropical shorelines and estuaries worldwide

- Live Oak (not native) - I think you'll agree, this tree is about the best on the workshop for a generally lush, full tree. Its color coordinates very well with the other trees by MrMaison

- Palm: Pick you own favorite palm tree out on the workshop or use the default palm tree and use in your city!.
