(and be a hell of a lot easier than spriting one, I admit)
If not, no big deal, there's other options that fit.
Going to use a backup file to see if it circumvents the error... else I may need to reinstall from the beginning. :/ (granted I got a ship for everyone, so it's probably one of their mods that did it. It'll be easy enough to just start uninstalling them back before the recent batch that was added).
...if that be the case, and I find the problem, I'll give your mod another go cause I like the layout.
I have no clue what could directly cause this.
First, make sure the only character you want the ship for is played today.
Second, locate the following folder...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\storage\player
Third, find the file labeled '(..........................).shipworld' + '(...................).shipworld.bak(.)'
*where everything between the (.) is alphanumeric (numbers and letters)* with today's date.
Forth, copy those files into a folder in that same area, call the folder (backup_ship).
Fifth, delete the .shipwold & .shipworld.back(.) files you first found (not the one in backup_ship)
Seventh, ???
Eighth, profit.
Ninth, thank me for the guide to changing your default ship to the custom ship.
Tenth, enjoy.
Hey @Dark_Scientist: Something's wrong with the hyperdrive...
The engine flickers (once ship repaired, upgraded twice after) on and off.
Also, (in regards to the hyperdrive) each time I jump it randomly (when during jump, not if) kicks me to the main menu. (it still gets me to my destination, though I have to reload in again).
Well this time it just flat-out crashed (had item menu open when it did). Killed the game and displayed a Windows symtex error message (wasn't thinking at the time to copy it -_-)
Not sure if anyone else is getting it.., it's probably an incompatability error with another mod?
(however I have too many to pinpoint which one). The easiest route is just uninstall back to default, unfortunately... which means I lose the bonus fuel cap plus the near-filled tank...
...such is life.
