N7 Typhoon

Commander Jane Shepard pulled a few strings with Alliance Command and asked for some heavy weaponry. Alliance Command responded by sending this, the N7 Typhoon L.M.G.

The Typhoon is specifically designed as a LMG style weapon, able to place a high number of rounds downrange and on target with devastating effects. Such is the power the Typhoon possesses, engineers had to add additional recoil compensators to keep it manageable by Grenadier units with cannon weapons training. This means the Typhoon has less room for ammo as a result, but it makes up for this shortfall by having an inherant armor piercing ability as standard.

The N7 Typhoon

The Typhoon is a distinctive light machine gun featuring a face shield to protect the shooter from headshots. Its power and recoil are so notorious that it includes a high-tech kinetic reducer to fight muzzle climb. Since the reducer tries to limit all motion by the weapon, units generally do not engage it while moving and instead reduce the recoil while they are in cover.

This weapon doesn't really need that much of an introduction. The Typhoon is legendary level pwnage in ME3 such is the bonuses its been given in that game. For Xcom, I did have to do the "stock chop" which I personally wasnt really happy about, as it lost some of its unique detailing. But "armpit" stocks just look wrong in Xcom when braced so, off it went to the scrap yard. I replaced it with my customised mag stock from the Mattock, and tbh I think it looks quite nice.

Icons atm are giving me trouble, and I dont know why. I have used various tools to make the icons, they just dont show in game atm.

*NOTE*
Attachements DO NOT appear on the weapon; This is NOT a bug, its a design decision to keep the weapon from looking "fugly as hell" with attachments added. This is purely cosmetic, and stats will update when attachments are added.
