Missile Hatches Mod

描述
This mod adds missile hatches to the game. They add parts like the normal gantry, but can only be used at the end of a line of gantries. Before the missiles are fired, there is a 1.5 second delay while the hatches open. In return they should look better and they also have the same health and armor as a 2m metal beam.

Note: Because there is a delay, manually fired missiles won't have the follow/chase camera (caps lock).

Blocks
- Gantry With Flat Hatch (Can hide most missile noses)
- Gantry With High Hatch (Can hide all missile noses)

Workshop instal instructions:
- In the main menu press the workshop button to the right.
- Press the modding workshop button around the bottom.
- Press Install Subscriptions to the left.
- Select the Missile Hatches Mod (press on the name and description so it gets a black background).
- Press the save mod in folder Missile Hatches Mod in the bottom right.
- Restart the game so that it loads the files.

Known issues:
- Animation might not be in sync with LUA controlled missiles.
- If you make changes to a color, it is not applied to the hatch untill you reload the vehicle.

should make a new version that adds 1x1x1 flush medium missile hatches, i just dont like the look of the aerodynamic ones thats all

Joe, this is a mod for missile hatches before missile hatches existed in the game; it is outdated now due to the missile hatches update.

So, this is a mod for a feature that's in the game? Is this mod a superior implementation on the same feature?

hatches are now part of the game, therefor this mod is OBSOLETE

Well, I got some good news and that is that hatches are going to be officially added to the game. I am not the one responsible for the implementation, so i don't know too much about the details.

It seems it will part of the missile rework getting added to dev test this month and the stable/normal version whenever that happens.

So...we are waiting for update for 2.12?

I would realy like for this to be added to base game. I would not tell mod author what to do with his own work, but if he don't want to keep this updated why not "gave" it to Game Dev in exchange for free game code or credits or both? How it is...we can't use it either way and it would be even worse for this work to just 'die' altogether.
